"we're almost there." brad announced. tyler took my hand and i smiled at him.
"you're sure about this?" he asked me.
"of course. i wouldn't be here if i wasn't sure." i replied.
"true."
i rested my head lightly on his shoulder. i was beyond excited to move in with him. the past seven months on tour were amazing and i couldn't wait for late nights cuddling with tyler while watching movies. he was all i ever wanted and it felt like a dream to be with him in person.
but this was real life. and i was happier than ever.
*que the regional at best version of lovely*
i picked up my phone to see who was calling. surely enough, it was my mom. we called every week so she was already up to date with what was going on with tyler. however, she thought that we met at a concert.
"hello?" i said.
"hey honey, are you in columbus yet?" my mom asked. i gave a small smile.
"i will be soon. just a little while longer."
"lovely! i just wanted to tell you i loved you and i wish you the best of luck moving in. also, tell tyler i said hello."
"will do. i love you."
"i love you too, sweetheart."
i hung up and looked at tyler.
"my mom said hello." i told him.
"next time you talk to her, tell her i said hi." he replied.
"i will. i can't wait until you guys meet someday. but she's in italy with my step father so we have to wait."
"oh neat. hey, maybe if we ever do a world tour we can see them." tyler told me. i smiled.
"fingers crossed." i agreed.
"italy sounds sick!" josh said, sitting next to us. we all giggled at his sudden appearance.
"guys we're here." mark announced. we all stood up and got out.
tyler and i grabbed our things and put them in the house. given my boxes, it took me a little bit longer to bring my things in. but, eventually everything was in.
we said our goodbyes to josh, mark, and brad (even though we'd all hang out from time to time) and then finally headed inside.
"well," tyler said once we were inside. "home sweet home."
i took his hand and pulled him into a passionate kiss. we hadn't had much alone time together given tour.
"we should probably be unpacking boxes." tyler said pulling away slightly.
"probably." i agreed. but by then we were already in his bedroom.

"okay so dogs or cats?" i asked tyler, as we were eating chinese food. he shrugged.
"mmm not a big fan of pets. but if i had to pick..cats. dogs are scary." tyler replied. i choked on a lo mein noodle.
"dogs are what?"
"you heard me." he replied sassily. i burst into laughter. he then joined in after.
we were a mess of laughter and giggles until we pulled ourselves together and finished our chinese food.
"i'm so glad we're living together." tyler told me, while we were cleaning up. i smiled.
"i am too. when i'm with you, i'm happier than ever..as cheesy as that sounds." i said.
"that's not cheesy. that's not cheesy at all. i love you, (y/n)." my heart fluttered at his words, as it always did.
"i love you too, ty-"
*que lovely*
"hello?" i said, answering my phone. tyler frowned slightly.
"hey! you're in columbus now, right?" i noticed it was jesse. i went to sit on the couch.
"oh, yeah! just made it a few hours ago."
"neat. maybe we could have dinner sometime or meet up. as friends, of course."
"hmm...maybe you can come for dinner tomorrow?"
"oh like with tyler too?"
"yup, it is his house after all." i looked at tyler and he seemed to know exactly who i was talking to.
"right, right of course. yeah, ill come!"
"sick. details to follow, tomorrow. okay?"
"alright!"
i hung up and looked at tyler.
"who was that?" tyler asked, trying to mask that he didn't already know. i placed a hand on his knee.
"jesse. i hope you don't mind, i invited him for dinner tomorrow night." i told him. tyler took a sharp inhale.
"oh, great."
