Chapter 6, Part 1: "That's my girl."

** Han's POV **

The only light that had been coming into the hotel room was from the tiny crack in the curtain. My guess was that it had to be somewhere between late morning and early afternoon. There wasn't a clock on the nightstand, and both of the iPads I pulled out of my bag last night were charging, so I had no way of knowing what time it was.

We didn't wake up the same way we had gone to bed. Audrey was facing away from me with her head buried in the pillow, and I was facing her with my arm lazily draped over her back. Her back was pressed up against me, and you could probably guess where her butt was.

I didn't want to wake her up. She needed her sleep after the day she just had, and to be honest, I needed sleep, too. I hadn't slept as well as I did last night since I had to fake my death and leave Audrey behind last year.

Slowly, I reached over her head and grabbed the remote from the nightstand, turning the tv on a low volume so we could at least have some light in the room. I wasn't sure what show was on, but I was hardly paying attention. When Audrey stirred in her sleep and rubbed her eyes, my eyes broke away from the tv and looked down at her.

"Morning...or afternoon," I said with a hoarse laugh. "I'm not sure what time it is."

"Mhmm," She hummed tiredly as she kept her head buried in her pillow, rubbing her tired eyes again.

I chuckled softly and shook my head as I slipped my warm hand up her shirt, rubbing her back. She groaned again, this time opening her eyes.

"Hi," She muttered as she laid where she was, letting me continue rubbing her back. "I think we've been sleeping forever."

"I think we needed it," I said as I leaned down and kissed the part of her shoulder that was visible under my shirt she was wearing. "Especially you."

"I didn't think I'd be able to sleep last night. My head was bothering me, but now it's not that bad," She said as she moved to stretch out her legs, but as she did so, her butt rubbed up against me again.

I bit down on my lip as I tried to contain the low groan that left my throat, my hand stopping on her lower back as I shut my eyes.

"You alright back there?" She smirked. I wasn't sure if she was aware of what just happened.

"Fine," I answered through my teeth as I laid flat on my back now, looking up at the ceiling. "Just fine."

When the bed moved, I looked over to see that she had sat up on her knees and moved over to climb on top of me. My hands didn't hesitate to place themselves on her waist.

"Haven't seen this view in awhile," I said as she slowly, and I mean slowly, moved her hands up the shirt she was wearing and took it off. I groaned at the site of her bare chest. "Holy shit..."

"Haven't seen you that flustered in awhile," Audrey laughed as she met my gaze while leaning down to kiss me. I didn't hesitate to connect our lips, holding her chin as I bit down on her lip while kissing her hungrily. She moaned into my mouth as my hands moved into the panties she was wearing, sliding them down her thighs with ease so now she was fully naked on top of me.

"Missed this," I muttered into her mouth as I bit down on her tongue while my hands gripped her ass as she humped on me. "And you."

Audrey pulled her tongue away from mine and bit down on my bottom lip in return - both of our lips equally as swollen now from how intense the kissing got. When her hands slithered down my chest and stopped at the hem of my boxers, my fingers dug into her ass, and she moaned into my mouth again. Seconds later, all pieces of fabric that acted as barriers between us were removed.
