"You did WHAT?!" Dom's voice came through my phone so loudly I had to pull it away from my ear. "How long have you been there?"

"Almost a week now," I said as I sat my phone in my lap and turned it on speaker. It had the same effect as holding it away from my ear. "Are you mad at me?"

"I wouldn't say I'm mad at you, no, but I'm going to ask the same question everyone else is wondering: why would you take off to Tokyo in the middle of the night?" He asked. "Han doesn't exactly live in the safest part of the city."

I swallowed as I looked around the empty living room, then back down at my phone. It was almost 11 pm, and Han had just texted me that he was on his way home from meeting up with Takashi. I'd been waiting for him the couple nights he did go out. I wasn't adjusted to Tokyo living yet, and was scared to sleep alone. I wasn't about to let Dom know that, though. He'd be on the next flight out here to bring me home.

"My parents kicked me out when I told them I dropped out of school. I didn't have anywhere to go," I tried to explain as he cut me off. I hated when he did that.

"That's when you come talk to me, not hop on the next flight to Tokyo. You know you always have a home here with Lety and I," He groaned. "Are you at least safe there?"

"Oh, yeah," I said as I tried not to laugh at that question. It was almost ridiculous how safe Han was keeping me, but to be clear, I'm not in "lockdown," I'm free to come and go as I please - he just prefers I don't go anywhere alone. "I'm safe. You can trust me on that one."

I heard a sigh of relief, followed by some background chatter that I recognized as Lety. Dom came back to the phone about a minute later, which drew my attention away from the tv.

"Alright, kid. It's late over there, so I'm gonna let you go. But you know I'm gonna call Han in the morning to make sure nothing bad happens to you," That comment made me roll my eyes, but everyone knew you couldn't talk Dom out of doing anything. "I love you."

"I love you, too," I said quietly. Seconds later, the line disconnected, and my phone dropped off my lap and onto the couch next to me.

I reached for the remote on the table in front of me and turned the sound back up on the tv, wrapping my arms around my knees as I brought them up to my chest. I was starting to grow tired, but suddenly felt like I had a burst of energy when I heard the doorknob turning.

"Well, hello there," Han said with a laugh as I jumped off the couch and ran to hug him. He wrapped his arms around me tightly after closing the door. "I missed you, too."

"I missed you," I laughed as I stood up on my tippy toes to give him a kiss. "Dom called and nearly chewed my head off, so you can expect the same thing in the morning."

"I was expecting one the second you landed here," Han laughed as he unlooped one of his arms from around my waist and locked the extra locks he had installed since my arrival. "I'm sure I'll get my ass handed to me."

"Don't say that. That makes me feel like it's my fault," I pouted as I looped my arms around his neck, bringing him back down for another kiss. "I don't want you getting yelled at."

He shrugged as he kissed me in return, nibbling on my bottom lip as he tugged it, putting his hands underneath my butt as he lifted me up, putting my legs around his waist. "It's nothing I haven't handled before. Don't worry about it," He grinned as he kissed me again, taking me back to the bedroom. "Let's just worry about right now. I've been waiting to be alone with you all day."

I tried calling my mom a couple of times. The calls were denied, and then she told me that she was busy and didn't have time to talk right now. It really ruined my mood because she promised she would be around more for me and the baby, but I was 35 weeks pregnant, and she hasn't called much, let alone sent me anything.

In the almost two weeks that I've been on bed rest because I'm not supposed to do anything strenuous, we caught up on all the shows we were watching, definitely caught up on all the sex we hadn't had in awhile, and took more naps to the point where we were tired sometimes. I was starting to get restless. I wanted to go out and do something.

"Come on," Han said as he held his hand out to help me up off the couch. "I'm gonna take you somewhere."

"Where?" I asked as I took his hand and stood up, fixing my shirt. "And how did you know I was getting bored?"

"I don't need words to communicate with you," He said with a chuckle as I rolled my eyes. "It's a secret."

I went to get my shoes on - which mostly consisted of flip flops or something relatively easy to slip on myself nowadays. I couldn't see my feet anymore, and I didn't want to bug Han every time I needed to put shoes on. When I emerged from the laundry room, he was standing in the kitchen near the garage door with some blankets and a bottle of sparkling grape juice, which I assumed was our trade off for wine since I couldn't drink at the moment.

"Where are we going that we need all of this?" I questioned again as he opened up the door for me, leading me out to the garage.

"Like I told you, it's a surprise. You're going to love it," He promised as he locked the door and led me over to the Mazda, opening up the passenger door for me. Once baby Dom arrived, he swore he was going to get another car so that we could have two baby safe vehicles, but he wanted to soak up all the Mazda time he could.

"You say that about all the surprises you have," I laughed as he got into the driver's seat after putting the stuff in the back.

"And I've been right about every one of them," He smirked as I rolled my eyes. "I'm always right."

He let me be the DJ and put on a playlist, and I picked one that I had made years ago with all of my favorite bands on it. I always told him stories about how Dom used to take me to all of these concerts because he didn't trust my friends and I going alone, and he made jokes about how he could just picture him at a Justin Bieber concert with his arms crossed and a straight face. That made me laugh so hard that I cried.

After about 35 minutes of being in the car, I recognized where Han was taking me. He took me to the abandoned airstrip that we had gone drifting at a couple months ago. When he took me last time, it was during the day, this time it was at night. There was a part where you could drive close to the cliffside and see the city. It was beautiful seeing the city lights at night.

"I know it's not safe for you to go drifting because they don't want you to go into early labor again, but that doesn't mean we can't come out here..." He looked over at me as he put the Mazda in park. "I know you've been restless and sad about your mom being awful, so I thought this would cheer you up."

"It's so pretty out here at night, thank you," I grinned as I leaned over and kissed his cheek before he got out to help me out and grab the blanket.

We got situated on the blanket sitting down in front of the Mazda with the sparkling grape juice in front of us. It was so peaceful overlooking the city and being there with Han. I really did enjoy getting to spend all of the time that we could together before baby arrived.

"Thank you for this," I sighed peacefully as I rested my head on his shoulder while his arm looped around my waist and rested on the side of my bump. "This is absolutely gorgeous."

"Like you," He murmured as he kissed the top of my head. "I hope this cheered you up a little bit."

"Definitely," I said as my eyes stayed fixed on the view in front of us. "It definitely did."

I pulled away from him and leaned up to kiss him, and that turned into him gently laying me back on the blanket as things turned steamy. Lucky for us, nobody was around as we had a quickie right there on the blanket.

"That was a first for us, having sex in a public place," I laughed as we both laid there on our backs catching our breath. "Thankfully this place is abandoned."

"I don't know, I think that was one of the hottest things we've ever done," He chuckled as he leaned up and kissed me again. "I love you, Audrey."

"And I love you," I hummed against his lips as I reached up and ran a hand through his hair. "So much."
