Over the next couple of weeks, Han and I had been pretty successful with getting the house put together, and it was turning out beautifully. The mess of bags and items on our bedroom floor had disappeared, and the master bedroom felt bigger again.

We finally filled up the kitchen with groceries after eating mostly takeout, and had started cooking again. When we lived in Tokyo, we used to cook stuff together all the time. It was amazing to be able to start doing so again. Things were slowly returning to normal, or as normal as they could get, and I was very content.

Han had been spending a good amount of time in his garage working on the Equinox that flipped over when I was trying to escape Takashi's men. I told him he didn't have to work on fixing it, but it'd been so long since he actually got to work on a car. He insisted on fixing it and modifying it himself. I couldn't argue with that.

I was about 8 weeks along at this point, which meant we'd been living in Australia for almost two months. At that point, I didn't have much of a baby bump, it looked like I was bloated, for the most part. That meant I could still fit into my current size, so I didn't have to go shopping for a new wardrobe...yet. My morning sickness ironically occurred mostly overnight. I had heartburn in the mornings, and it felt like I was always hungry, no matter how much we ate...and we can eat a lot. My back was starting to hurt, but it was minimal so far.

The morning sickness wasn't that bad most nights, but Han got up and sat in the bathroom with me every time, sometimes I'd be in there for 30-45 minutes. It didn't matter how long it was, he stayed with me until I knew I wasn't going to vomit anymore and could go back to sleep. He was truly an amazing supporter.

One afternoon after cleaning up the kitchen from lunch, I decided to go sit outside with Han while he was working on the car. We'd gone to the beach that morning, and we were both pretty tired, but he loved getting to work on the car when he could.

"Hey, baby," He smiled when he noticed me opening the door. "Whatcha doin' out here?"

"I don't wanna be by myself inside," I said as I shut the door behind me. "So I thought I would bug you," I said with a laugh as I sat down on the top stair while stretching my legs out in front of me.

"You never bug me," He said with a smile as he wiped his hands off with one of the rags lying on the cart next to my car. "I've got it almost all fixed. The paint was pretty chipped, but that's all I really have left to do."

It was pretty hot out by mid afternoon, and sweat was visibly dripping on Han's face. He pulled his shirt up and wiped his face with it, and before I could even blink, he had taken it off. It must've been pretty obvious that I was staring at his perfectly toned abdomen, because he said my name loudly to get my attention.

"Huh? What?" I asked, directing my eyes from his abdomen to his eyes. "What did you say?"

"I asked you what color you wanted to paint your car," He chuckled as he walked over to me, holding his hands out to help me stand up. "You alright?"

"More than alright," I said as he pulled me up. "I was just staring at you."

He held my chin with his thumb as he kissed me hungrily, moving us so that I was leaning up against the passenger side door. His other hand rested on my hip while my hands ran slowly down his abdomen, my fingers ghosting over the pattern of his abs.

Han moaned into my mouth gently and pulled me back in for another kiss, barely giving either of us enough time to gasp for hair. I felt his bulge growing on my thigh, and I guess he knew I could feel it too, because he pulled away seconds later - both of our lips swollen.

"You do things to me, Audrey," he said with a stifled laugh as I blushed. "I'm all flustered now."

"Yeah, well...too bad you're working on the car right now," I smirked as I backed away from the car to the steps. "Since you're all flustered now."

I smirked again as he watched me slowly walk up the stairs. Within seconds, he bolted towards me, and I squealed when he picked me up with ease and closed the door with one swift kick.

"Did you find a doctor you like?" He asked as we laid there naked under the covers tangled within each other after the last couple of hours of fun.

"Mhm," I muttered tiredly as his fingertips gently moved up and down my back. "My first appointment is Monday morning. I know how you feel about mornings, but will you come with me?"

"Of course," Han mumbled as he kissed my forehead. "You don't have to ask me, babe. I'll go anywhere you need or want me to."

I smiled to myself, my hair moving against his chest when I tilted my head to look up at him before kissing his chin.

"I just don't like leaving the house without you nowadays, as stupid as that may seem..." I laughed nervously as I met his gaze. "Is that weird?"

"No," He answered as he looked down at me, his fingers gently tangled in my hair now. "You've been through a lot this past year, more so in the last couple of months. You're scared, I get it. Everyone takes time to heal at their own pace, so you take as much time as you need. I'll be right here, I'm not going anywhere," He promised as he gently grabbed my chin and placed a soft kiss on my lips. "I love you."

"I love you," I murmured as I moved to nuzzle my face into his neck. "Until the world explodes."

"Until the world explodes," he repeated with another gentle kiss to the side of my head as his hand stayed securely on my hip.

We laid there in silence for a few minutes before I opened my mouth to say something.

"I think I want to call my mom," I said as I looked up at him. "I think I'm ready to tell her...and my dad."

"You're sure that's what you want?" He asked as he rubbed my back gently. "We can call her in the morning," Han suggested.

I nodded, my hair rubbing slightly against his shoulder as I met his gaze again.

"Yes," I answered confidently. "I at least want to try to have somewhat of a relationship so they can see their grandchild. I want to at least be able to tell our child that I tried."

He nodded, leaning down to kiss my forehead when he saw tears well up in my eyes, his fingers running gently in my scalp.

"You can tell them everything I told you. If you want to," He said as he watched me. "I'll go down to the garage tomorrow morning so you can have some privacy."

"No, you can stay here when I call her. The baby is yours, too. She needs to understand that," I said as I brought my hand up to wipe my eyes. "If she can't accept that we're going to have a baby and are going to be getting married, then at least I can say I tried."
