Chapter 11: "We'll get her back."

** Han's POV **

"How could you be so fucking stupid?" Dom asked as he stood up, not even letting me get all the way in the door before he started with the questions. "You left her alone while she's pregnant!"

Harsh, but I deserved it.

"I know," I said as I swallowed harshly. "I shouldn't have done it, I don't really know what I was thinking, and there's nothing I can say except for I'm sorry."

He shoved me, and I stumbled backwards. Dom was about to punch me, but Mia screamed and stepped in the middle, shoving Dom backwards.

"Stop it! Beating the shit out of each other isn't going to solve the problem at hand," She yelled as Dom walked off to the other room to cool off. "Sorry, he's just--"

"I know," I said again as I came over to the table and sat my bag down before pulling out a stool. "I've been beating myself up over it ever since I left her in the middle of the night. What's worse is that I promised her I wouldn't leave anymore."

"We'll get her back," Tej said quietly as he put a hand on my shoulder when I put my head in my hands. "When she called you...was it from a private number, or her actual iPad you gave her?"

"The iPad..." I said as I trailed off in thought before moving to grab mine out of the bag. "You think you could trace the signal?"

"It's possible," Tej said as he took it from me, walking over to the counter where he had some of his stuff set up. "I could maybe ping its exact location."

My mind wandered off as I began thinking about what Takashi could possibly have done or be doing with Audrey. The thoughts made my stomach turn as I tried not to picture the worst. She proved that she could put up a fight when Deckard came for her in our apartment just a short while ago, so I tried my hardest to think of the positives and picture her giving Takashi hell.

"We're not going to give him what he wants," Dom said as he came back into the room after taking some time to calm down. "We're going to kill him."

"And his men?" I asked, finally taking my head out of my hands.

"And his men," Dom repeated as he sat down in his seat, putting his Corona bottle to his lips. His eyes wandered over to Tej when he said he had something.

Tej came back over to the table where we all gathered around him as he held it in his hands. "I was able to trace the signal to some house in Melbourne. It's about nine hours from here. He probably took her somewhere far away so it would be hard for you to find. I think I can tap into the camera...if it's on or still has a charge."

He looked at me, and when I gave a nod, he looked back down at the iPad and pressed a couple buttons. Within a minute, we were watching a live feed of Audrey's iPad.

** Live Feed **

"Come on, you need to eat something," Takashi said as he walked over to the bed. On the table sat an untouched plate and a drink. "You're with child, remember?"

"Yes," She muttered, doing everything in her power to avoid eye contact. "I said I wasn't hungry. I ate something an hour ago."

"No, you had a piece of bread off the sandwich I left you for lunch an hour ago," He corrected her. "That's not very nutritious."

"I just don't feel like eating anything," She said as she shied away when he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Don't touch me."

Takashi scoffed and stood up off the bed, turning towards the untouched plate.

"Are you not eating because you're worried I'm going to kill your little boyfriend? You can stop worrying, because I will. And if he tries any of his funny business and brings his little friends, I'll kill you, too," He said as he turned to look at her. "Understand me?"
