Fourteen: Kaleikoa

Lei kissed me.

She really kissed me.

She pulled away and smiled. I held her neck and kissed her again.

Next thing I knew Kainoa and Makana were standing on the other side of the table with plates in their hands.

Kainoa pulled out the chair, put his plate down and slammed his hands on the table. "So what's for breakfast!?"

Makana sat down next to Kai and just shook her head and mouthed 'Sorry, I tried to stop him.' Lei shook her head and said to Kai, "We're have bacon and rice, want?"

Kai immediately started scooping then started eating. I grabbed Lei's hand and whispered in her ear, "Wanna go in the lazy river in the pool?"

She nodded and then we took off. I picked up a joint floater and placed it in the water.

We both got on and started to float down the river. Then a splash water hit our faces.

Kainoa got in his floater, next Makana and Kanoe shared the joint floater.

So did our parents who with our hānau mua stayed around us as we circled in the river.

I looked at Lei and saw she was happy, though I was annoyed we can't get lucky and be alone together, I am glad Lei was happy.

After going around on the river about ten times both our parents finally got out with Makana and Kanoe. Kainoa on the other hand stayed.

Eventually Lei kind of got tired I guess because she fell asleep.
