11. Serendipity Pt. 1

Author's POV:

After her chat with Yoongi, Annie fell asleep. At 6 AM, her alarm on her phone started buzzing in a loud volume, waking Annie up in a second. As soon as she was awake her jitters and her anxiety returned back. She was to appear in a morning talk show. She was supposed to reach at the studio at 8 AM but being too nervous, she decided to get ready and reach a little early at the studio.

Once she was there, she was escorted to a Green room at the back of the studio. It was a luxurious large room, shimmering with bright lights, glamorous décor and filled with positive vibes. There was a large mirror on one side of the room. Mirror was covered with bright light bulbs. There were chairs placed front of the mirror for guests to sit and get their make up and hair style done. Each chair was accompanied by mobile drawers carrying make up supplies, hair blowers and other tools. On the opposite end there was one big couch and a smaller one, placed in a L shape.

She took a seat on one of the chairs and waited for a makeup artist. She didn't realize but she was fidgeting her fingers and tapping her foot constantly on the ground. Anyone seeing her would easily guess that she was nervous. She suddenly heard loud cheering and commotion near the next green room. Must be because of some celebrity, she guessed!

Her make-up and hair were done. She felt as if makeup was a little exaggerated. This was way more than what she would usually apply on her face. There were layers of primer, foundation, concealer, blusher and things she had never even seen before! But she loved how they styled her hair, soft wavy curls which complimented her outfit for the interview.

She was ready and just waiting to go on air now. Sitting on the couch, waiting, was making her more nervous. She decided to get out of the green room and see things around. The show had just started shooting. There was a large TV screen near the corridor. She stopped to see the show.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this morning we have a very special show for you all. Our first guest today has been recently titled as the 'Best writer under 30' and at the age of just 27, she already has 8 successful novels and 3 collections of short stories amongst her biggest achievements. Her latest novel is currently a bestseller in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English. Yes, I am talking about Lee Ah-In, better known to her reader as Annie", male presenter spoke.

Annie smiled ear to ear hearing praises for her.

"And hold your breath, our second artist or rather group of artists are global phenomena. Loved and adored by millions across the world. They are super talented and super handsome bunch of youngmen. They are singers, dancers, musicians, and philanthropists... BTS is in the house!", Female presenter practically screamed the last statement!

"We are gonna ask all the questions, ARMYs want to know and not just that, they are gonna perform live for us!" female presenter continued in the high pitch. There was never-ending cheer from the audience. Girls were screaming, and everyone was cheering and clapping for on and on. Staff had to literally calm people down so that show can move forward.

Annie's facial expressions had now changed from smiling, to that of a surprised one. Her mouth was in O shape and her eyes open wide. But just in few seconds, expressions changed again. From surprised to worried in an instant!

She nervously started pacing in the corridor, head down, fidgeting her fingers again.

"I know you guys are excited but before we move forward, let's look at our top news for the day and have a look at how weathers gonna be across the country today." The male presenter spoke and they proceeded to the news section.
