19. Not so exhilarating!

Ann's POV:

I should be exhilarated that I'm gonna have a meal with an idol, one for whom I used to obsess over at one time! However, what I'm feeling right now isn't exhilaration to be exact! I'm pretty happy but getting tense over silly things!

I'm not worried about what will I talk with him or what will he think about me or how should I be behaving with him! Nope, I'm rather worried about silly things like what should I be wearing? Should I dress formal or should I be casual? What if I wear something formal and he's just in a tee and jeans! That's what I see him wearing on TV! But what if I'm in casual and he's in something formal, wouldn't it seem awkward? Should I ask him? Nah! I don't think asking an idol about what would be dresscode for the dinner would seem cool!

Though we had exchanged numbers, I don't think we would have any communication, apart from maybe to decide where and when!

Ah! I feel like a teenager, going on her first date! Oh wait, is this gonna be a date? Nah, I don't think so!

He just asked me if we can have a meal together, I don't think he meant going on a date. If he would have meant it as a date, he would have asked me like asking on a date! Well, I'm not sure how differently a person asks on a date, maybe he would have specifically used the term "date", instead of "meal". And I don't think idols are allowed to date anyways! I'm just getting ahead of myself!

For a minute I thought of calling my besties, Mia or Allie and asking their opinion but then it hit me. When I had told them about my first encounter with Suga, they were freaking out. If I'll tell them I've met Suga once again and going out with him, they'll go berserk! They'll make much bigger deal of things then they are. And they'll likely get my hopes up about the entire situation! I don't think that's a good idea! I'll have to rely on my judgement only!

I still had two days till Saturday, I'm sure I'll figure things out!

How is the day going so far?

Ann:
Excellent! How about you?

MYG:
Very well actually! I did something I usually don't do! And I feel excited!

Ann:
Wow! What did you do?
BTW you may choose not to answer the question if it's something personal.

MYG:
It is kinda personal but I can say what it is without going into much details, if you don't mind!

Ann:
Of course not, just say whatever you are comfortable with

MYG:
I've asked someone out on a date!

Ann:
Are you saying that you usually don't go out on dates? You said that you did something you usually don't do!

MYG:
Well, yeah. You can say that work keeps me busy too often!

Ann:
Busy enough to not get opportunity to socialize? That's sad!

MYG:
Not a big deal. But I'm really excited about this one though! I can't wait for the weekend!

Ann:
Cool, I'm happy for you. I'm sure it'll go great!

MYG:
What are your plans for the weekend?

Ann:
I have a work event Saturday morning and then evening I'll be having dinner out.
Remember I told you that somebody had helped me out during one of my big work event?

MYG:
Yeah

Ann:
Well, he's taking me for dinner Saturday evening. No plans after that for Sunday.

MYG:
Great, have fun Ann

Ann:
You too!

MYG:
Hey, before you go, can I ask you something?

Ann:
Sure, what is it?

MYG:
Well, it's bit personal, I'm not sure if you would want to tell me!

Ann:
What is it? Just ask please

MYG:
What time is it?

Ann:
Eh? You are joking, right?

MYG:
Not really!

Ann:
I don't understand. Seems you are pulling my leg!

MYG:
.....

Ann:
Oh wait, I get it now!

MYG:
You don't have to tell me if you don't wish to!

Ann:
It's 11 PM. What's the time there?

MYG:
Interestingly, it's 11 PM here as well 🙂

Ann:
