12. Serendipity Pt. 2

Suga's POV:

We were ready and boys were practicing now. I decided to stroll through the studio and get some fresh air.

I reached the corridor and saw a girl pacing tensely. The first thing I could notice was soft features on her face. Beautiful eyes, but currently expressing her nervousness. Cute little nose and her lips! Light pink make up made her lips looks like flower petals. F**k! What am I doing! I suddenly realised that I was staring at her! I looked around to see if any one has caught me gawking at an unknown girl! Pheww! I was safe! I don't want images of me staring at a girl in social media!

There was a TV screen in the corner and she moved in front of the screen to watch the show which has just started.

Presenters were introducing guests for the day. "Ladies and gentleman, this morning we have a very special show for you all. Our first guest today has been recently titled as the 'Best writer under 30' and at the age of just 27, she already has 8 sucessful novels and 3 collections of short stories amongst her biggest achievements. Her latest novel is currently bestseller in Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English. Yes, I am talking about Lee Ah-In, better known to her readers as Annie"

Wow that sound impressive! I was just thinking that and I saw a big smile on the face of the nervous girl! I think she is the one, the presenters were speaking about, the writer, Annie!

They then introduced us as well. As usual, it was followed by loud cheering, screaming girls and waves of clapping!

My glance again fell on the girl. Her smile had now turned into surprise. Seems she is also happy to know about our appearance on the show. Yeah, yeah, there is a smirk on my face.

Her expressions changed again and turned into a frown and then worry! She now seems even more anxious! She again started pacing nervously in the corridor. Her face seems stressed out and she is biting right corner of her lower lip. Even her stressed out face and bitting lip seems beautiful! 'Suga, stop gawking', I scolded myself in my mind. I thought of checking upon her if she is alright.

"Hey"

She was looking down while still pacing.

She looked up, meeting my gaze with her beautiful eyes and seemed surprised to see me. (Of course, she would be!)

"Oh Hi"

"Are you alright Miss?"

"Oh yeah. Just a little nervous. This is my first interview on national television." She said with a fake smile, trying to hide her stress.

"You must be the author they talked about"

"Yeah, I am Lee Ah-In. Nice to meet you." She said bowing politely.

"I am Suga. Nice to meet you too."

She smiled.

"You must be so used to all these interviews and you must be finding my nervousness naive". She said again biting her lower lip.

"I have been through where you are so it isn't naive. Before each performance I still have jitters, even after hours and hours of practice. But over the time it gets better though", I tried my best to assure her.

"Any tips to reach that better phase little early Suga?"

"Yeah, let me tell you about my secret tip. And this is science and research backed up."

"Wow, yeah, please tell me!"

"Ah-In, science has shown that your body language effects your mental state as well. If you would pace nervously, fidgeting your fingers, heads down, your mental state will continue to be full of nervousness" Upon my pointing out her earlier state, her face blushed, out of embarrassment of course!

"You noticed that" She said smiling slightly with her cheeks showing her embarrassment.

I just nodded and continued speaking. "If you would change your posture to a confident one, your mental state will also become full of confidence. Ever heard of wonder woman pose?"

"What's that Suga? I mean I know wonder woman but what's wonder woman pose?"

I unlocked my phone and searched "wonder woman pose" and showed her result pics from 1980s wonder woman TV show poster.

"This is a powerful confident posture for female. There are such postures for male too. Before important interviews or any such event, stand like this for couple of minutes and you will definitely feel more confident and energetic."

"Wow, thanks, this is really good one. " She said imitating the wonder woman pose I had just shown her.

Somehow it seemed too cute rather than powerful. I had to hold my chuckle back. I didn't want to make her more nervous.

"Ma'am you are up in next 30 seconds" someone spoke behind me. I turned to see a staff member waiting for Annie to go with him.

"I gotta go Suga. Thank you so much for the tip. It was great meeting you." She spoke with a big smile on her face.

"It was nice meeting you too Ah-In. Good luck for the interview." I bowed as she moved towards the set.

Annie's POV:

While I was standing there, almost freaking out, I heard a gentle "Hey" from behind.

Oh God! Oh God! Oh God! I was more freaking out, from inside though. I tried my best to keep a calm demeanor outside!

It was Suga! The Suga! The Suga from BTS! Suga!

Wow! I felt as if I forgot how to breathe for a second!

He was dressed in a very stylish red blazer, black shirt and black "shining" pant! He was looking so magnificent! Breathtakingly beautiful! I hope I'm not drooling, I thought and came back to reality!

I felt so tiny in front of him. I never thought he would be so tall! So I have read that except Jimin, everyone is taller than him in the group. But I never imagined him to be so tall!!!

I felt so relaxed and happy after speaking with Suga. I didn't expect him to be so nice and friendly, with zero arrogance! My adoration increased 100 times for him!😊
