32. Mails and Selfies!

Ah-In had got dozens of messages and call from his publishing team, guess they've checked the pics too!

From Suga's studio, Ah-In decided to visit the publishing house. It was strange in the office. She was already expecting attention but this was a different kind of attention, not a very kind one!

She was getting glares from people! Whenever she's in office, usually people greet her cheerfully but today all she got was strange glares! No one came up to her to even say a hello!

She decided to directly go-to CEO's office!

"Ah-In, come, I was waiting for you since morning! You weren't even picking up my calls!"

"Sorry Jay as you can imagine I was busy dealing with sudden development!"

"Oh yeah! How are you holding up?"

"I'm okay, dealing with the situation!"

"Look, that's your personal life and no one should be intruding in it like this. Only thing I can say is if you need any help, I'm here!"

"Thanks Jay. I know I can always count on you!"

"Forget about all that coz I have good news for you!"

"And what's that? Some good news would be nice right now!"

"You've got five interviews lined up, all on national television this week!"

"Wow! How did this happen all of sudden?"

"Our phone has been buzzing since morning! Everyone wants an interview with you!"

Ah-In sighed as she realised the sudden interview requests!

"I expected an enthusiastic response but seems like you are not at all excited!"

"Well it seems people wants the interview with the girl in pics with that famous idol"

"That's a bull! They want the interview with the young author who at such a young age has recieved the honour of getting nominated for the most prestigious awards in literature in the country and also an international award!"

"I'm not very sure about that!"

"Come on Ah-In. I agree that those pics of yours have created a buzz but I don't think that's the reason media is interested in your interviews. I think you should stop overanalyzing and make best out of this opportunity!"

"Hmm" Ah-In is still not very sure!

"This will really help sales of the book!"

"I know"

"All the publicity will also help create a positive perception before awards are finalized. It's a win win situation for us!"

"Okay! Let's do this!"

"Good girl! The first interview is today at 6 PM."

"What??"

"And you are telling me now!"

"It was finalised just moments before you came. And there's nothing new, same interviews as you have been giving earlier."

"Okay okay!"

Ah-In returns home from office mentally drained. Everything that has happened since morning was too much for her to digest. Truthfully, she's not ready for interviews but she doesn't have any options!

She decides to have a cup of tea to relax her mind.

While sipping on her tea, she gets call from Suga.
