30. Time to celebrate!

"Ready to end the day with a sweet celebration?"

"As ready as I could ever be!"

"Is there a specific place you would like to go for ice cream?" Suga asks as he opens passenger side door of the car for Ah-In.

"Actually yes. There's this small ice cream parlor I used to go to with my family when I used to be young."

"Show me the way, my lady!" He straps seatbelt and starts the engine. Seems affectionate nick names are getting frequent and it brings warmth and giddiness inside Ah-In!

"It's little far from here though"

"That's okay! We have all the time in the world, don't we?"

"Yes, we do!"

As they started their journey towards ice cream parlor, Ah-In couldn't stop herself from staring at Suga. He was wearing a simple black t-shirt and jeans and even in that simplicity, he looked so damn attractive! Short sleeves of his t-shirt was not helping Ah-In move her attention from Suga. It was first time she noticed the muscles and veins of his hand so up-close! And damn, they felt like magnet, Ah-In's eyes were just stuck on their site unabashedly!

"You do realise that you have to guide the way for us to reach to the ice cream parlor, right? I mean I don't mind all the attention but maybe you can continue eyeing me once we reach there. You'll at least get a better view!"

F*ck she was caught!

"I'm so sorry, actually I was just lost in some thoughts. I didn't realise my focus was towards you." She lied through her teeth. Too embarrassed to admit she was totally gawking him. But her cheeks told the different story, and she was just hoping that the red blush on her face wasn't visible in the dim lights of the road.

"Of course you were lost in thoughts and wasn't checking me out... Of course!" Smirk on his face was making Ah-In blush more and more!

"Okay okay you caught me, happy?" She said in a fake annoyance!

"Very much! And please by all means, keep staring! I like your eyes on me! That gives me liberty to do the same with you!"

"Stop it, you are making me blush"

"Aww how cute! But there's a crossroad coming up close and you still haven't told me where are we supposed go from here!"

" Oh I'm sorry! Please take a right from here."

Ah-In felt so embarrassed that her eyes were now stuck to her lap, not moving to see anywhere else.

Suga realising this tried to lighten the mood.

"Reporter Min Yoongi here from channel 6, Ms. Ah-In tell us how do you feel after getting nominated for two of the most prestigious awards on the same day?"

"I guess the same way as when you came to know that you guys are nominated for Grammy! Wait... Did I just touch upon a wrong subject?"

Suga chuckled loud, "Not at all.  Not particularly sensitive subject!"

"Oh good. But to be honest, everything still feels unreal!"

"It will sink in gradually. But Ah-In, I'm so proud of you. I'm sure you'll win, you deserve to win, but know that irrespective winning or losing, I'll still be equally proud. What you write is amazing and you really don't need validation by some award!"

"Thank you Suga. You know it means a lot to be here with you right now!"

Suga just smiled as he continued driving. After a thirty minutes of drive, they were finally in front of a small ice cream parlor. They were glad that it was still open at such late hours in the evening.
