16 Getting closer!

Author's POV:

From the time they would wake up in the morning, till the time they go to bed, MYG and Ann have been chatting continuously, almost every day. Both of them had never been so keen on texting anyone, but this time it was somehow different.

There was an ease and comfort in their communication. Their topics of chat would be generic yet so profound. Getting to know each other's perspectives even on little things in life seemed so interesting. There were nights when they would start chatting about something interesting and that chat will go on without interruption till morning hours. Sacrificing precious sleep for a conversation with each other seemed normal.

Ann:

Hmm?

MYG:

You like traveling, right?

Ann:

Yeah!

When I am not doing my work, I am mostly traveling. Like at least 2-3 times a year.

MYG:

Wow! Your friends/ family accompany you on trips thrice a year?

Ann:

No! These are mostly solo trips. I go with my friends on trips hardly once in a year or two! I used to go with them a lot during our college days, but not anymore!

MYG:

Why So?

Ann:

I far am away from them :(

MYG:

Oh! different cities, huh!

Ann:

Different continent!

MYG:

Ouch!

Where do you usually go?

Ann:

Places are always different. 2 or 3 places within my country and at least once abroad. 

 Usually, I pick just one or two cities or towns in a region and explore them extensively. I try to experience everything; places, food, lifestyle, and even people!

MYG:

People???

Ann:

I meant I try to explore typical characteristics of people of that place. If it is a city, I usually find a home to live in through AirBnB or something. If it's a smaller town or village, I still ensure I stay at a place where I can get a chance to have maximum interaction with locals. It is the most exciting part of travel!

Do you travel often?

MYG:

Yes you can say so. But it is usually business travel.
