3rd person POV
y/n slowly jittered their eyes open. It took a second to adjust, but as soon as they were, they realised that the thunderstorm hadn't stopped and since you didn't have mr.honeynuts you assumed Max took him back, you turn around to face Max's bed to see him cuddling mr.honeynuts, yep he took him back, i don't blame him though he probably had some sort of attachment to it just like i do with me and duggy.
the tent next to Max and Y/N's belonged to Niel and Nikki, since y/n wasn't good a crying quietly Niel and Nikki heard, they were both awake because Nikki didn't know what the time was and was too energetic to sleep and Niel couldn't sleep because Nikki was jumping around. As soon as Nikki heard crying she ran outside to investigate, she soon figured out it was coming from y/n's tent and ran inside jumping on them "what's wrong, are you okay" Nikki asked in a voice loud enough to wake Max but before he could say anything Niel walked in "what's going on" he said fidgeting with his fingers a little. Soon enough everyones attention was on you (maybe not everyone but everyone in the tent), you liked having attention to know people care about you but not when you're crying it just means everyone around you will pretend to feel bad and act like they care.
Niel and Nikki were trying to comfort you whilst Max was staring at the three of you and it looked like he had something on his mind, a few minutes later Max speaks up "get the fuck out of my tent" he got up and starting pushing Niel and Nikki back into their tent.
Max POV
Once i made sure that Nikki and Niel were definitely not coming back i went back into my tent and sat next to y/n, i slowly put my arm around her to comfort her, i don't usually like putting my arm around other people just to comfort them but this was y/n and they make me feel something i've never felt before, i have no idea what it is but i have a feeling it's a good thing she makes me feel this way. She looked at me with that smile of hers and it always seemed to make my stomach feel weird. I didn't know what to say to cheer her up but i knew she was scared because of the thunder since i heard her talking about it to Niel and Nikki, i got up and quickly ran over to my bag, i pulled out some headphones and Davids phone, i went and sat back down next to y/n and gave her the headphones as she was putting them on i connected Davids phone to it and played music, i put the phone next to me and put my arm back around her, she rested her head on my shoulder and slowly fell asleep, fuck i couldn't move now not when she's on me. sooner or later i accepted the fact i won't be able to get up and so i rested my head on hers as i fall asleep quickly.
