QUARREL

The door of your room was shut slowly as Itachi stepped out in dingy hallway facing the cloaked man with orange mask.

"What are you up to...." Itachi awakened his new Sharingan and his eyes pierced through Tobi's mask.

Tobi chuckled and replied in deep voice," Well, look at you Uchiha.... your eyes have been evolved....you're welcome by the way!"

Itachi grunted," This is all part of your some sick plan....do whatever you want but leave (y/n) out of it!!"

Tobi chuckled again," Oh no...! She is the main key!"

He laughed hysterically.

"Besides I haven't done anything out of ordinary... I was just taking care of Akatsuki"

Tobi finished his sentence and threw a small scroll at Itachi. Itachi quickly grabbed it with his right hand.

Tobi turned his back and began walking," You should be grateful she is not dead...".  

Itachi frowned as he looked at your encrypted scroll that you tried to send Konoha. He was filled with anger and frustration, but didn't want to argue with you right now.

In the upcoming days, you noticed Itachi distancing from you, he didn't even come to ask you about your recovery. Only Deidara was with you whole time. You tried to pin Itachi down but he always had an excuse to get out of your ways.

This was making you really pissed at him but you couldn't express your feelings in that sick hideout of freaks.

One evening you and Deidara was sitting outside and you spotted Itachi coming back from the mission.

'I'm gonna break the ice today!' You thought to yourself as you swiftly get up and took the yellow flower ring from Deidara, which he was making all day for you.

"I will be back.." You said to him and ran after Itachi, inside.

You chased Itachi with hurried footsteps.

'Why it is always so dark in these hallways...' you whispered to yourself.

You saw Itachi turning left at the end of the hallway and you quickly followed him but when you turned the same direction, he was gone.

"What the..!" You spoke. There was pitch black on that side. "Well...Fuck it!" You said and started to proceed slowly.

You were getting goosebumps as you had never come to this side of the hideout. You were completely relying on your senses. There was lot of debris on the ground and you have crossed half of the way successfully dodging them.

"Itachi!" you shouted his name but there was no answer. 

You groaned and was getting agitated and decided to run, you wanted to get rid of that uneasy and ominous feeling.

You managed to dodge most of the obstacles but suddenly your foot went numb as it hit something solid on the ground and you lost your balance. You quickly realised what it was... They were the big metal nails on the ground facing upwards and you were about to fall on them.

you dug your fingers into the wall trying to create the friction and gain the balance back but in a split second your arm was held tightly and your body was pinned on to the other wall.

"What do you think you're doing?....."

You heard the familiar voice and your spine finally relaxed. You saw those glowing red eyes in the dark but the pattern in them was a bit different and you could feel yourself getting lost in them.

"(y/n)..??" He called you again.

You shook of your thoughts and replied," Why are you ignoring me??!! You didn't even bother to ask if I'm okay...!!" You lashed on Itachi.

He stood there and kept listening to your angry words and questions. 

"Can you Answer me?!!!" You yelled at him.

Itachi sighed and pulled out his ams and turned on a dim yellow lamp near your head. He then handed you the scroll you sent out.

A shiver ran down to your spine as your mind processed the situation. You knew that Itachi is full of anger but it was surprising he remained quiet for so many days. You lower your gaze and your hand crushed that scroll.

"I told you.... not to do anything that will get you in trouble..." the frustration began showing in his voice," I told you!! Not to continue that stupid mission of yours!"

You didn't argue back because what happened few days ago was flashing before your eyes....That blood bath... that pain you suffered...and the look on Itachi's face when he discovered you in half-dead state.....

 Itachi felt your remorse as he could now sense what was going on in your mind and quickly lifted your chin up, pulling you out from your miserable memories. He didn't want to yell at you, he was worried about you.

"You should go back to village soon...." He said in cold voice," This place is not safe for you..."

You noticed the seriousness of his face and it scared you a little.

"I think I should go back to my room now...it is getting late.." You said slowly and gently pushed Itachi away.

"Go to your actual room, (y/n)...." Itachi commanded.

You looked back at him in a little shock as you and Itachi both were sharing room before all that nuisance. You nodded slightly and started to walk away.

Itachi frowned as he thought to himself:

"Tsunade knows that you're alive....I delivered your message, (y/n)"

Itachi kept looking at you walking away noticing the flower on your finger, he was wishing that he could actually tell you what he just said in his mind but it was too dangerous. 

Itachi took a deep breath and spoke,

"And one more Thing! "

You stopped and look at him," What?"

"Don't let that art freak come that close to you...!"
