THE RIVALRY

The birds chirped by the window as your eyes struggled to continue the peaceful sleep.

"SHUT THE HELL UP?! You Dufus!!"  

"WHAT?! WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!"

Your eyes flung open as the loud noises kept coming from the hallway. You woke up and sat on your bed and noticed the Akatsuki Robe laying at the end of the bed with a note on it.

You grabbed the note and rubbed your eyes to make them focus better to read.

'Get ready. Can't wear my clothes forever.'

"Jerk...." you whispered as the note reflected the arrogance of Itachi.

You sighed and after the washroom/bathroom routine you sat on the bed in towel staring at the ceiling.

"What I'm gonna do...."

You gently closed your eyes as your mind tried to form various strategies.

"I have to update Konoha, but I can't let Itachi know at any cost...." you murmured to yourself and sighed again.

"Is there a problem?"

Several chills ran down to your spine as your ninja instincts kicked in and your body arched back locating the source of the voice.

"When did you-...."

You couldn't complete your sentence when noticed Itachi standing right beside you.

You took a deep breath and tried again," when did you come? Quit your arrogance!"

You stood up and passed right besides him to grab the Akatsuki cloak. Your hair were still wet and the little droplets tinkered his face.

"What do you want? Let me get dressed, unless you're planning to watch me!" You mocked his Gentlemen trait pretty hard.

He kept looking deep into you but didn't utter a single word. He stood there for few seconds before making his exit.

"I'm waiting outside...." he said as he closed the door behind him.

You sighed wondering what if Itachi read your mind or may doubt what You're up-to.

—————ITACHI's P.O.V.——————

I woke up after a peaceful sleep and I don't even know how long it was when I slept that good.

I placed (y/n)'s clothes and went out. I didn't want to disturb her.

She looked innocent and beautiful.

I shook my head off as I realized that I had been admiring her from last two minutes.

I quickly went away.

.

I came back to room to check on (y/n) and found her sitting on the bed in towel......

My face started to heat up a little but thankfully she didn't notice.......

Her wet hair sprinkled water on me and I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off her......

I'm glad that she is okay now and has recovered but I can't believe that how she is getting that beautiful day by day.....

I walked out of the room and hoped that she wouldn't continue her sick mission.....
