THE DAUNTING

It has been 4 days since you and your team is on the move. You have assassinated many bandits in the way and as the path went further deep into the wild forests, you can feel the difficulties were arising more and more.

"Should we rest here (y/n)-Senpai?"One of the Anbu members asked.

You looked around to make sure all the team members were there, you had been accompanied with 4 ANBU members and 2 Jonin Ninjas.

"Okay.... we stay here for tonight... whoever's turn is to search for clues can start their duties now", you said firmly.

The way you were controlling the team and guiding them clearly portrayed that you're a serious Leaf Ninja and with your skills, you're not the one to be messed with.

You sat down near a tree not letting your guard down, ready for any surprises, even though you have Anbu with you.

You rested your back against it and was about to close your eyes when one of the patrolling Anbu landed before you.

"What happened?!...", You asked as you pulled yourself from the relax state.

"I have found Orochimaru's hideout near our location", He began.

Your eyes widened as Sasuke's image flashed in your mind and the promise you made with his elder brother got back into your memory.

" I have suspected with my Byakugan that there are 6-7 people in the hideout which also included Uchiha Sasuke, the Konoha Rogue Ninja" he explained.

"So what do you want to do Leader-sama?" The Jonin next to you asked," should we capture the Rogue Ninja? I mean.... we have been ordered to do so ..—-"

You cut him in the half," But that's not our mission! Our mission is to find the Akatsuki's hideout! Not the Orochimaru's!!" You raised your voice as you flew away from them.

You landed near the entrance of the hideout with lots of thoughts rushing in your mind.

"I thought he will be outside... I wanna make sure that he is okay.... and that filthy snake didn't turn Sasuke into one"

You sighed and turned your back.

"I guess it's pointless...."

The familiar voice poured into your ears and you turned back only to meet the blue head raven.

"What are you doing here?!" Sasuke questioned.

"Don't worry I'm not here for you.... and I'm leaving so I don't wanna disturb anybody..."

You said in annoyed tone.

"(Y/n)....." Sasuke held your hand.

"Oh come on!!!!" You said in anger and flicked his hand away from you.

Your frustration finally spoke,"You know what?!! I just wanna check that are you a snake yet? And seriously Sasuke.... Orochimaru out of all great ninjas... you really are a blank canvas! And what are you learning May I ask? You are still using the Jutsu I taught you in all the combats....!! For a legendary Sanin... not so cool snake!"
