NOT MINE ANYMORE

The sun moved slowly towards the horizon as the warm breeze rustled the leaves around you, announcing the soon arrival of the dusk.

You were pacing slowly and cautiously as you couldn't afford to exert yourself and die in the middle of nowhere. You slowly clenched your waist.

"Few more days....."

You mumbled as a sharp pain needled into your body pulsing from the seal.
You tried your best to ignore it and focused on your senses to track down the younger Uchiha.

You knew the things had ended badly with Sasuke last time, so you wanted to fix that and besides all that you had been taking care of him as a promise to Itachi and you can't just let that promise go.

The sky was turning red but your destination wasn't that far away. You had already roamed around Orochimaru's hideout but couldn't find a single trace of Sasuke. Now you had been following his chakra trail which brought you to the deepest parts of the forests that are usually forbidden for a normal ninja.

"I wonder what new trouble he be getting himself into....."

You thought to yourself as you jumped around little faster.

"It's been three days ..... are you sure that this is the right place?"

Sasuke rested his back against the bark of tree as he questioned Kabuto's information.

Kabuto chuckled and fixed his glasses," well.... You have to be more patient Uchiha if you really want to meet your ni-san"

Sasuke glared at him for few minutes before turning his attention towards a black silhouette that emerged from thin air near those bulky rocks.

The sun had set and the darkness took over the control. As the figure proceeded towards the mysterious layout and vanished few seconds later.

Kabuto grinned," I think somebody is back....."

A side smile formed on Sasuke's face as he noticed crimson clouds on the robe before the man vanished.

"Let's go!" Sasuke held his sword tight and got ready to take a leap from the branch.

"Maybe you shouldn't rush like this." Kabuto tried to reason with Sasuke.

"If you're too scared to accompany just say that.... You can just sit here and enjoy the stars...." Sasuke said coldly.

He jumped to the other tree and turned his Sharingan on," Time to say hello again, my brother"

He braced himself and was about to dive on to the rock when a firm hand on his shoulder caught him off guard and pulled him back. He quickly took his sword out and swung it as he turned.

You dodged the blow but some of your hair strands weren't that lucky as they got grazed away by the sharp edge aiming at you.

"(Y/n)!!!!! "

Sasuke quickly retreated his weapon and placed his hand behind your back pulling you closer.

"Are you okay?!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
Sasuke blasted you with questions.

You took a deep sigh and gently removed his arm from your side," I'm fine Sasuke..... I came here to look for you.... But..." your eyelids squeezed a little down," but.... What are you doing here......."

Sasuke eyes widened a little as he realized that you had seen through his plans.

"I-Im trying to inspect the Akatsuki..... and just pin pointed one of them here...." He gulped a little but his voice was stern," They took you away and I can't let them hurt people I care for!"
