"You fucked up really bad, dude." Ashley pointed out as he threw a glare in Stacy's direction. "What were you thinking?" Disgust was obvious, even in his voice.
I breathed, trying to deal with the physical pain that I was feeling, as well as the emotional.
"Can someone explain to me what's going on?" Andy's croaky voice whispered. The look on his face went from blank to angry. Having his full focus on me with that look made everything feel even worse.
I was still bawling at this point. "Don't pretend you don't know." I spat, my voice cracking heavily at every word. I sounded pathetic.
Ashley's grip on me tightened. Gentle but strong. It was just enough to keep me from caving in again. The amount of people who were witnessing this felt fucking humiliating.
"Oh baby, you don't remember the amazing night we had? Perhaps you drank a little much." Stacy said in an annoyingly sweet tone, as her finger traced along Andy's lips.
He smacked her hand away and gave her a bewildered look. But I wasn't convinced.
"Um, what's happening?" Jake then asked as he stepped into the bus.
"I'm leaving, that's what's happening." I jerked myself out of Ashley's grip, mouthed a 'thank you' in his direction and stormed past Jake straight out of the bus. With a heavy heart, I took a couple of deep breaths and made my way to Jake's car.
"Wait, you're leaving? Lexus... where the heck do you want to go then?" I heard Jake behind me, running to try and catch up with me.
"I don't care!" I simply stated, throwing my hands in the air. "I just don't want to be here anymore! Take me to a motel or something, I don't know." It might've been a little drastic, but I couldn't really think of anything better. I couldn't be around Andy, not like this. Not with Stacy around.
"A motel?" I then heard Andy yell. "Are you fucking crazy, Lex? You're pregnant!" I stopped dead in my tracks and bawled my fists, trying to fight the tears. "Don't be stupid. Let's talk about this."
"Stupid?" I repeated as I slowly turned towards him. "Yeah you're right, I am stupid. I'm stupid for thinking this could actually fucking work. You're so obviously better off with her." The idea alone had me crying all over again, and I was just getting so sick of it.
"Babe..." Andy almost begged, still looking sort of angry. "Seriously, come on..." He sighed and reached out for me, but I immediately took a step backward.
"Jake please get me out of here." I whispered as I then turned back towards the car and desperately tugged on the door handle.
Without a word, he unlocked the door and let me in. "Wait." Andy then started as he ran into the bus for a moment. "Just... take the house. It's all yours. The kid... needs a good home." I ignored him, but from the corner of my eye I saw him handing Jake a set of keys. He threw me one last glance and then walked back to the bus.
I couldn't just go and forgive him for what he'd done, no matter how much I loved him. I watched him punch the side of the bus and go back inside. Jake got behind the steering wheel, started the car and drove off in silence.
Not a single word was spoken on the drive there. Jake knew as well as I did what was going on. The disappointed sighs he would blow out every few minutes said enough.
When we arrived at what I assumed was the house, Jake stopped and turned to me with a pained look on his face.
"I'm fine." I quickly lied, knowing he was going to ask me if I was okay. Of course I wasn't fine, but at this moment I had to be.
He just sighed and tried to smile a little. "Do you want me to go inside with you?" He then asked in the calmest way I had ever heard him speak. I just shook my head and looked out the front window, eyeing the beautiful exterior of the house. "Okay. Just call me if you need anything, okay? I mean, we're all still your friends, we're here for you."
I nodded and faked a smile. "You don't have to explain yourself. I know." And with that, Jake handed me the keys. I carefully got out of the car and watched him drive away.
The outside of the house was beautiful. It started with a paved driveway that led to an indoor parking spot underneath the house. Beside the driveway there was a dark stone colored stairway to the first floor, which was also the front door. I slowly made my way up there and unlocked the door.
For some reason, I was holding my breath as I stepped inside. The house smelled clean, new and fresh. But it didn't smell like a home yet. As I walked down the hall, I ended up in the kitchen. The cabinets were a matte black, covered with light grey marble counters. It was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was openly connected to the living room, just how I liked it. On the floor there was a white fluffy carpet. The walls were white too and filled with Black Veil Brides records and prizes. That was obviously Chris and Amy's doing. And for a moment I actually smiled. The big black couch, covered in red pillows against the wall was the most comfortable thing I had ever seen. The glass saloon table and massive TV on the opposite wall was also typically Andy; he had to watch the games in high quality, of course.
For a moment I just stood there and sighed.
Around the corner of the kitchen were two doors; and one of them had a black and red bow wrapped around the door handle. I frowned curiously and tugged on the bow, making it fall onto the ground.
When I opened the door, I couldn't believe my eyes... I gasped and gazed upon the fully furnished baby room. Everything was there, literally everything. From the furniture all the way down to the stacks of diapers and boxes of toys. To my right there was a small box with the same kind of bow on it. I slowly grabbed it from the shelf and opened it up. Inside the box there was a little black blanket with the name 'Biersack' embroidered on it in silver, leaving enough space to place a first and middle name above it.
My heart broke and I dropped down to my knees, bawling my eyes out once again. "Damnit, Andy! Why?" I practically begged, as if I was hoping that the emptiness of the house would somehow answer.
