More than a year passed by. Andy was still away a lot, touring almost endlessly, but every single chance he got; he flew back home to spend time with us. He proved to be a really amazing father and he had been there for most of the big milestones little Dennis had made in his first year.

In that year I decided I needed to get out there again as well. I had written a bunch of songs and selected six of them to release on my first EP. It wasn't a full on album, but I had to start somewhere. The day of the release, my manager had arranged for me to perform at a small intimate venue in downtown LA.

My social media accounts were flooding with, mostly, really positive messages about the new material. Even Andy had posted on his Instagram and Twitter to go buy it.

"So where are you now?" I asked Andy over the phone.

"We're in Oklahoma. I'm freezing my nuts off having a smoke out here." He replied, his voice shaky. Clearly he was seriously cold.

"Downside of being a smoker, eh?" I then joked.

"Yeah." Was all Andy really said. Then he went quiet for a moment. "So um, how are you feeling about tonight? Your first big show?"

I chuckled softly... first big show. "I'm pretty anxious actually." I admitted.

"You'll do great, Princess. Just breathe." Andy assured me. "You have an amazing voice and the songs are pure. You'll be fine."

"It's a shame you can't be there." I muttered softly, trying not to sound all too disappointed. "But at least Dennis will be able to watch me. Which reminds me, you'll never guess who will be backing me up with the guitar."

"Well Jake and Jinxx are here, so I honestly have no clue."

"Tommy."

Andy started laughing. "Really, Tommy? Your brother Tommy?" He asked in an utterly sarcastic and disbelieving tone. "The one person who always said you'd never make it is playing with you?"

Thinking about it like that, I kind of had to laugh too. It was true, Tommy never really believed in me, and yet here I was... "Yeah, shocking, right?"

"Well I'm sure you'll blow everyone away, even him." Andy then said with a proud tone in his voice. "I gotta go now. Give them hell, babe."

"Thanks, you too. I love you."

"I love you too, Princess."

Andy's words had made me feel just that little bit less anxious for the show. Though when I heard later that day that it was sold out, all the nerves crept back up in an instant. I had tried to call Andy again once more to tell him the news, but he didn't pick up. Probably busy, I figured.

"It's almost time for you to get up on stage." My manager announced as he came into the dressing room.

I walked around nervously, snuggling Dennis in my arms. "Where's Rose?! I can't go on stage! And where's Tommy?!"

"I'm here! I'm here!" Rose yelled as she hastily came running into the dressing room and carefully took Dennis from me. "So sorry I'm late, traffic was horrible. Tommy's already on stage fixing his guitar."

I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as I looked into the mirror. "I can do this. There's nothing to it. If Andy can do it, I can do it too." I tried to tell myself. Give them hell, babe I heard Andy's voice say in my head. I smiled and sighed. "Alright, let's do this!"

"Yay!" Rose exclaimed happily, making Dennis wave his little hands in the air.

"Eeeh!" Dennis then babbled excitedly. I giggled softly and kissed the top of his head. Having my little angel there that night was an absolute blessing.

The show itself was amazing too. And even though some of the songs I played were released only that morning, people were already singing along. And I was proud to have such dedicated fans.

I shot Tommy a glance as we played the last song. He sincerely smiled up at me and kept playing as I sang my heart out. "How could we breathe? Where would we be? We were so lost in our suffering, but now you've made me see... Through these deadly tellings, and these lonely dwellings... Now that we're free, we'll live for eternity... We'll live for eternity."

I backed away from the microphone and took a deep breath as I looked down into the crowd. Everyone was cheering and whistling. "Thank you! Thank you all so much for coming out tonight!"

Suddenly I heard a really loud cheer from some deep, familiar voices. I blinked a few times and followed my eyes to where the sound was coming from. To my big surprise, I saw Jake... Jinxx... CC... Ashley...

And lastly, I saw Andy, holding Dennis in his arms; smiling up at me with the most proud smile I had ever seen him look at me with. I felt tears of joy fill my eyes as I watched them for a moment. 'You were amazing' Andy mouthed as I looked his way.

I then cleared my throat and grabbed the microphone. "If anyone's interested in getting a copy of their EP signed, I will be doing that at the bar in about half an hour. Thanks again for all of your support. I love you."

Again the crowd cheered and Andy gave me an approving nod. The adrenaline that surged through my body as I left the stage and ran back into my dressing room felt absolutely amazing. Only a minute later, Rose walked in, holding Dennis again, and with Andy closely behind her.

Because of the adrenaline that I was feeling, I was capable of doing only one thing at that point. I squealed happily and ran straight up to Andy, jumping into his arms like a crazed fangirl. I wrapped my arms around his neck, my legs around his waist and kissed him deeply. Holding me up with ease, he smiled and kissed me back.

"Get a room." Rose then muttered below her breath.

I then slowly pulled away from the kiss and leaned my forehead on his. "What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked with a grin, still shocked and surprised.

Andy kissed me again for a moment and smiled. "Did you really think I was going to miss my girlfriend's first big show?" He then stated, as if it was obvious all along that he would be here. "I'm so proud of you, Princess."

"That was amazing, Lexus!" My manager suddenly stated, waving his hands in the air as he came into the room too. I quickly climbed off Andy and straightened my clothes. "She's amazing, isn't she?" He then added directed at Andy and Rose.

Andy wrapped an arm around my waist and gave me a quick peck on my cheek. "She sure is." He confirmed, making me blush.

My manager then walked over to Rose and ruffled Dennis' hair. "Did you enjoy your mommy's show too, kid?" He said in a cute voice.

Dennis giggled as he always would when someone gave him positive attention. "Mama!" He then exclaimed, reaching his arms out towards me.

I chuckled and smiled "Oh come here you little angel." I said as I walked over to Rose and took him into my arms. Life honestly couldn't get much better than this. I had my man, my boy, close friends and my music. It was all I ever wanted.

Nearing the end now... Just a few more chapters!!! :)
