I woke up early maybe because I'm still not sure if Clyde coming here is real or if it's just a dream. He's still sleeping soundly when I visited him.

My parents were downstairs, preparing to leave.

"Good morning honey," mom greeted me and kissed my forehead.

"There's food on the table. Don't forget to take your meds after, okay?" dad reminded me while mom caressed my hair.

I nodded. I hugged them goodbye.

It's always been like this.

I looked at the food on the table.

My parents we're always away. We often dine together. I'm not mad though... or disappointed. I understand. But sometimes I crave for their time. I've always been left alone. But not anymore...

I woke up Clyde so that we could have breakfast together.

"Ha? 'Di ka ba papagalitan ng mga magulang mo? Baka makulong ako," he laughed.

"Umalis na sila noh," I informed him then we went downstairs.

He looked at the bacon and eggs that were present on the table.

I went to get plates and utensils.

"Ano 'to?" he asked, referring to the bacon.

"Bacon 'yan," I answered. "Hindi ka pa nakatikim niyan?"

He nodded as a response.

"Pakikuha naman ng tubig please," I requested while I set up the table. We'll seat beside each other.

"Masusunod binibini," he saluted.

Seriously? It's 7 am in the morning.

I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Wow. Iba talaga kapag mayaman noh?" he commented after seeing the contents in the refrigerator.

I paused, still thinking of what to respond. Since sometimes being wealthy comes off as bragging.

He sat beside me and looked me in the eye, "May nasabi ba akong mali?" he asked after noticing that I didn't react.

I shook my head. "No. You didn't offend me or anything.  I'm well aware of the fact that many people want to be in my stead. And that's why I'm thankful for what I have everyday."

I smiled and looked at him to see him just staring blankly. He wiped his nose.

"Nosebleed ako ro'n ah," he exclaimed.

We stared silently at each other for two seconds and burst out laughing.

I forgot he doesn't understand what I just said.

My hand is on my stomach as I catch my breath.

"Ayan napatawa na kita," he muttered which made me flustered.

What is it to him if I laugh or not?

"Kumain na nga lang tayo," I said, breaking eye contact with him.

We started to eat and he was overwhelmed with happiness after tasting the bacon.

"Naisip ko na gawin natin isa sa bucket list mo ngayon."

What he said lit up something in me and I immediately looked at him to say yes. The word was almost out of my tongue but I decided to hold it in when I saw his bruises.

"Baka 'wag muna ngayon?" I suggested.

His eyebrows met in confusion. "Bakit naman?"

He must be curious why I suddenly rejected his proposal.

I pointed his bruises, "Iyan kasi. Baka pag lumabas tayo, huhulihin ako ng mga tanod dahil baka akalain nila na binugbog kita."

He laughed at me.

"Oo nga naman. Bugbog sarado ako pagdating sa'yo."

"Brain Freeze," I muttered when I got a cold headache after biting an ice cream.

We're eating ice cream as a snack this afternoon. He got the Vanilla Magnum Ice Cream Tub while I got the Almond flavor.

"You know what, kailangan nating gamutin mga pasa mo," I said, starting a conversation.

"Waw. Hindi lang pala pangbubugbog alam mo, panggagamot din," he teased.

I scoffed.

"Gusto mo dagdagan ko 'yan?" I threatened him which made him laugh.

Now back to business.

I took my phone out of my pocket and opened google. He took a peek at what I'm doing so I adjusted closer to him so that he could see.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" he asked.

The ice cream he's eating was spilled onto the phone. I glared at him.

"Aish," I hissed.

I can't help but roll my eyes at him.

He grabbed the phone from my hands and wiped the ice cream with his shirt. "Eto talaga ang maldita," he joked and tsked at me.

"Seriously?" I asked him in disbelief after I saw what he did.

"Ano?" he grunted.

I pointed at the tissue on the table ahead of us.

He gave me back the phone. "Mag move on ka nalang, Cloe," he insisted.

I sighed.

I typed 'How to treat bruises' and clicked search.

The 1st solution was Ice Therapy.

"Sakto may Ice pack kami." I motioned Clyde to stay seated while I went to get the Ice pack.

I threw the Ice Pack at him and it hit his face.

He whimpered in pain so I immediately said sorry.

"Seriously?" he exclaimed while glaring at me.

Wow. He clearly got that expression from me.

I crossed my hands and tilted my head at him."Bakit?"

He pointed to the ice cream that's placed on the table.

"Anong connect?" I asked.

He grabbed the tub and placed it in his bruise. "Pwede namang ito nalang."

My brows met in disbelief. "Bobo ka ba?"

"Ginagaya lang kita," he responded with a smirk plastered on his face.

I gasped. "Excuse me?! Hindi ako bobo," I argued.

He placed his finger on my lips which has taken me back, "Shh. Naiintindihan naman kita binibini."

I slapped his arm away.

"Hoy—"

Our bickering was interrupted when someone rang the doorbell.

Wait someone doorbelled?!

My eyes widened in conclusion.
