As the ceremony ended, our class jogged towards the garden. The three days suspension was boring for me. I didn't do anything worth remembering for the following days. Clyde also didn't visit me since fortunately, he's not dumb enough to go out in a stormy day.

We stood in front of our pot, amazed. There's a little leaf standing. It grew!

Ken grabbed something out from his pocket, a phone. I forgot. We we're required by Ms. Mendez to take a picture of our plant and report it's refinement. He took a picture, creating a click sound.

Satisfied by what we've seen, we went back to our room.

"Nabasa mo na ba 'yung email na sinend sa 'yo ng council?" Ken asked Marielle. We're all wearing a jacket to warm ourselves.

Marielle shook her head. "Babasahin ko mamaya," she said with a shaky voice.

Noah opened his bag and grabbed a tumblr and gave it to Marielle, "Coffee."

"Para sa photoshoot ba 'yan?" I asked.

She drank it and said thanks.

"Yeah," answered Ken who's busy on his phone. "Noah, may basketball tournament ka raw next week," he informed and placed his phone back in his pocket.

"Pwede pa bang sumali diyan?" Clyde immediately asked. He was so excited.

Noah can't help but to laugh. "Yeah. Try out ka bukas."

"Yes!' Clyde muttered, happy by what he just heard.

I smiled. It's good to see him excited about what he likes.

Birthday na niya pala the day after tomorrow. He'll be 18. I wouldn't know if it weren't for the bulletin board plastered at the wall. Our birthdays we're written there.

It's already almost 5 pm. The only ones left in the classroom are Marielle, Ken and of course me. We got permission to stay since the president is with us.

I covered my ears. The scream of Clyde echoed through the hallway. Rinig na rinig ko 'yung pagtakbo niya. He stopped in front of the door with a wide smile.

This is good news, surely. He went to us, dancing. We laughed at his craziness. Noah was behind him, catching his breath. "He got accepted," he said in between his laughs.

Clyde went to us and asked for a high-five. Pati si Marielle napilitan. I guess they don't want to spoil his happiness. I just let his hand stay in the air when he went in front of me. He waited but still got no high-five from me. I raised my brow to challenge him.

All of a sudden he grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards him. He embraced me in a big warm hug. "Cloe..." he called, his voice full of life.

I wrapped my arms in his waist, hugging him back. A smile escaped from my lips.

I'm glad you're happy.

All this time, my wishes were the ones being fulfilled but to see him attain something he likes makes me feel delighted. If I had to put one more thing in my bucket list, that is to make him the happiest.
