"Welcome to the 2nd task of the Triwizarding competition!"
These past 2 days have been torture. I can still barley swim despite Poe's best efforts to help me which is really quiet terrifying. However I can float and paddle around a bit at least the tail and flippers will help me a bit thanks to the gillyweed. Finn tried to get me to go deep underwater yesterday to help me but it just freaks me out too much so I will just have to concur that, well today. Today is the 2nd Triwizarding task!
The Gilliweed that Rose thought up works wonderfully however it does make me look like a sea serpent with the gills, tail and webbed digits . I have hardly seen anyone outside my friendship group in these last few days because all I have been doing is training ,well probably over training. I feel like I have completely burnt myself out its exhausting. Today will be the first time that I have seen Kylo in days. At least he probably knows already how to swim! One up on me already.
To say I'm terrified would be an understatement I feel even worse than last time and that all because of the swimming. Who knows what they want us to do in the black lake but I already know that there is at last 20 different underwater monsters situated there. If I don't drown from overstepping the time limit from trying to swim I will drown to one of the sea monsters. At this point I really don't know if I should be writing my last will and testament.

" Come on Rey it's time to go!" Poe yelled down from the common room.
I have chosen to just stick to the simple black swimsuit I was wearing the other day despite my friends ,mainly Poe, trying to get me to wear some kind of fashionable bikini from a special collection at Gladrags. I guess if I had gone with the bikini I would have been drop 'dead' gorgeous, get what I did there?
"Come on Rey you will be fine we have ultimate faith in you." Finn said once I came down into the common room. to which I smiled.
"Where is Rose?!" I said as we began to walk down to the black lake seeing the newly erected tournament arena coming into view.
"We don't know we have been looking for her since yesterday." Finn answered palely.
My heart missed a beat in worry. Rose didn't come back to the common room last night?!
When we got to the arena that's when I realised that everyone participating was looking for people too.

Kylo POV
The arena where all the students sat was massive. Most people had already arrived and I could see that Rey was coming along now shivering slightly from the cold air. I have no idea why they had to pick such a freezing cold day for something like this. It's absolutely barbaric.
I have been working the passed few days on the bubble head charm and I'm confident that its going to work but that's not what I'm worried about. Apart from the reoccurring dream from a few nights ago I have no idea what creatures lurk beneath the black lakes surface. Of course being a Slytherin I have seen the giant squid pass by the common room but who knows what's deeper.
