I was scared to be part of the quidditch team because I have never played the game before and because I would be representing and playing in front of the whole school. I saw Ren storm out of the great hall when my friends were congratulating me which made me giggle slightly. He looked like a 2-year-old having a paddy.
It was my first quidditch game today I had been told how to play and this was my chance. It was a game between Gryffindor and Slytherin. I was the youngest one playing. I was suited up like everyone else and made my way into the sky like the others. It was weird to think I was part of a team because I have never been part of much in my life.

I knew all my friends and house were watching along with Kylo and his obnoxious Slytherin. It was the first game of the season, so I was hoping to get my house off to a good start. The pitch was so regal it looked like something out of the medieval times the way it was decorated. We took our positions whilst Mr. Yoda came out onto the field and told us to have a nice clean game. He then let off the snitch and threw the ball into the air.
"Let the game begin!" The commentator announced.
Everyone leaped into action. It was hard not to be drawn into the chaos, but I had a job to do and that was to find and capture the snitch.
Kylo POV
I was watching the game of quidditch unfold. I was annoyed because I wanted to be up their fighting for my team. It was also embarrassing as my dad was the famous quidditch player Han Solo!
The girl had never played the game before. I watched as the Gryffindors etched an early lead against my house resulting in cheers from the crowds. Slytherin got the ball but just as it was travelling to the net Maz Katana a 4th year Gryffindor caught it. They scored again!

They were on 20 points and we were on none. Maul a 4th year from Slytherin was determined at it and kept trying to score but Maz kept deflecting them much to our frustration. I could see Maul hitting into Gryffindors left right and centre.
We started to score though because we started to play dirty by throwing things at the Gryffindors resulting in Maz falling off her broom and several other Gryffindor's being shoved. My team also managed to knock another down by flying her into a podium claiming the ball for us. This got us neck and neck with Gryffindor!
Rey POV
I was so irritated and angry when the Slytherins started to cheat but I guess what could you expect from them?
I was watching from the side of the pitch looking at the chaos the Slytherins had created when I saw the snitch, so I headed for it full speed. I followed the snitch drowning out all of the distractions of the others involved in the game. My soul purpose was to break the tie by catching the snitch and winning for Gryffindor.
My broom started to act strange though and I almost fell off I could hear the laughing coming from the Slytherins probably Kylo and his little gang. I was terrified that I would fall the hundreds of feet down to the surface. Someone must have been tampering with my broom but to my relief it was soon over, and I managed to get back into the swing of things.

I quickly found the snitch with the Slytherin seeker on its tail. I thudded against the 4th year Slytherin boy to try and knock him out of the snitch's reach. We kept bumping into each other making it hard to fly. Suddenly the snitch jerked downwards causing us both to follow. We had almost made contact with the surface so the Slytherin retreated back upwards into the sky, but I continued on my path to certain doom.
The snitch evened out skimming the surface I was relieved when I managed to do the same without crashing or losing it. I couldn't hold my broom and reach for the snitch at the same time, so I stood on top of the broom like a skateboard.
Kylo POV
That girl must be a lunatic she almost died with that plummet and now she was standing on her moving broom. She had her hand outstretched and was reaching out for the snitch when she lost her footing and fell the few feet to the ground hard. It took her a minute to collect herself again. That must have hurt !

Everyone was silent as we watch her. She opened up her clutched hand and they're in her palm was the SNITCH I couldn't believe it. The mudblood who probably never knew anything about wizarding and witching until she came to Hogwarts had just won a quidditch game.
"She has the snitch; Rey receives 150 points. Gryffindor wins!"
I was so annoyed that they had won but even more so that it was her that had won it!
