I just had to hit him I didn't usually like allot of violence for obvious reasons but Kylo had over stepped the line. He mentioned my parents when he knew I had none. It was horrible what he did to me after I save his ass from Buckbeak the ungrateful so and so.
After the incident on Christmas day I haven't seen much of Crylo the last I had heard of him was that he had went to get his nose tended to by Madam Pomfrey and then went to rat me out to his mam. At least I didn't get told off for it. I enjoyed the rest of my winter break on my own reading, enjoying my presents, playing with Porg and practicing quidditch when the pitch wasn't too icy.
The only time I ever saw Kylo after I punched him was occasionally in the great hall but he usually timed it right so that I wouldn't see him on his own on the Slytherin table from the equally lonely Gryffindor table. Turns out they was a few first year Hufflepuffs that had witnessed me and Crylo's fight so now everyone knows what happened that i'm an orphan mudblood with issues and Kylo who is a pureblood who couldn't fend off a mudblood who broke his nose. Both equally bad for us.

Kylo POV
My mam is the headmaster of Hogwarts and couldn't even do anything about me being punched in the face by a mudblood! When I went to her after getting my nose tended to she just turned to me and said after my long rant that I probably deserved it then walked off. That's not how that's meant to work. She was meant to believe me because I'm her son but instead it seems she believes the mudblood over me which is ridiculous absolutely ridiculous.
An I can't believe everything has been spread around Hogwarts and today all of the others come back from winter break oh this is going to be humiliating. What can I do about it now though? I will just have to show that i'm still number one, I'm sure me , Hux and Phasma will come up with something.
As soon as everyone arrives back from their holidays they is loads of whisperings about what happened between me and the mudblood. I can see them staring as the mudblood goes to greet her friends I watch them as the see Hux and Phasma come over to me. I can't wait to get out of here (the great hall) and up into the safety of my dorm room.
"Is it true?" Phasma asked as we started to tuck into our food at the Slytherin table.
"What true?" I asked in return I already knew what she was referring to but wanted to know what people thought had happened.
"Stop acting dumb Ren we mean is true that you said something to the mudblood about her having no parents and then she punched you in the face?" Hux said annoyed.
"Well yeah I said she was a nobody who was thrown away by her muggle parents like trash and that she is nothing but a mudblood."
"Nothing but not to you though am I right Kylo?!" Phasma smirked and winked.
I could feel my face heat up, "Ewww no Phasma jeez all she did was punch me not make out with me kriff!"
Rey POV
My friends were the most excited I have ever seen them. I couldn't get them to shut up they were wanting all the details of what happened. It took me ages to calm them down enough to get them back to the common room without them screaming about it. Once back into the safety of the Gryffindor common room me an Rose invited the boys up to our dorm so that I could tell them what had happened. I don't know why I wanted to tell them up there though saying as everyone already knows anyways.
"Ok so tell us I want all the details!" Poe squeaked.
"Tell us everything!" Finn elaborated.
"Don't leave anything out oh and I want to know his reaction I bet it was priceless!" Rose laughed.
I rolled my eyes at their silliness but told them everything that had happened anyways. I old them that me and Porg were minding our own business when he came barging over out of nowhere. I told them how he had been such a horrible person and brought up my family when he knew I didn't have parents. I told them how I got so made that I punched him in the face and broke his nose (I gave specific details for Rose which she loved and laughed at). They were all angry about what he said about my parents but at the end of the story were all rolling around on the floor laughing their heads off at how Kylo reacted.
After a while we all managed to settle our giggles and get some sleep which I was thankful for it was better knowing my friends were back it kept me at ease. But I knew that Kylo and his little gang would try and do something soon so I would take this peace for now.
Kylo POV
Stupid Phasma why did she have to say that now I have Hux on my tail getting mad at me for liking her when I don't ,I didn't even say I did. It's ridiculous. I can't go and tell mother I can already see the smirk on her face.
When I went down to the great hall for breakfast the whispers were louder than ever nobody had gotten over what had happened don't think they will for a while either which is annoying. But then I saw the daily prophet that everyone was looking at.

It must have been sprouted from those Hufflepuff's spreading about what had happened. I didn't want this to happen to her that's was not meant to happen. I turn to page 3 to read what they have written about and it talks about how it's suspicious that she has no last name and that they has never been a mention of her parents. They also say that she must be an orphan from what those Hufflepuff students heard her say.
But what I found the worst about the whole thing was that they was an interview from Rey's foster father Unkar Plutt. My heart stopped when I remember who that man was. How did they get an interview but then I realised they would have just obliviated his memory of the conversation away after he made his statement.
