I watched as Kylo raced off ahead off me whilst I was untying Rose. At this point I knew that I wasn't going to be able to catch up to him as I tried not to shake untying Rose. Krum and Kylo were racing to the surface and I had just started to race up until I noticed something. Fleur was nowhere in site and by now she would have defiantly been here. I couldn't just leave when I realised that I was the only one that was still under the surface that would be able to save Fleurs younger sister Gabrielle.

She was bobbing up and down slightly in the water looking almost corpse like thanks to whatever spell she had been put under, it was unsettling to see. With my hand attached to Rose I swam back towards Gabrielle and that's when everything went to shit.
I understood the rules of the tournament that we were only meant to save one person from the bottom of the lake that person being the one specifically chosen. But I didn't realise that if you tried to save another person that you would be attacked by merpeople. On second I was making my way over to Gabrielle then the next second I was completely surrounded. Luckily I still managed to keep a hold of Rose despite being roughly poked by what appeared to be spears. They were clearly not happy with me trying to save Gabrielle and were telling me to leave gesturing to Rose then to the surface.
"I can't." I attempted to communicate with them but my efforts were futile.
Time was running out soon the Gillyweed would stop working and I would have to take a breath.
Kylo POV
The clock kept ticking and ticking whilst everyone held their breaths on the stands. Nobody knew where Rey was and as time ran out everyone was starting to worry. After 5 minutes had pasted since I had came up from the bottom of the black lake the hour ran out.
Poe and Finn had ran up to the edge of the stands by now worryingly glancing at the murky water below the deck where me and Krum sat.
"Its been an hour the Gillyweed has probably ran out by now!" Finn said in concern
"Someone will have to get her out soon, she can't swim properly its the Gillyweed helping her out." Poe agreed.
That made me even more worried, I mean obviously we are enemies well sort of but still I don't want her to drown. Each second felt like agony and the whole atmosphere was tense , you felt as though you were waiting for a pin to drop. It got to the point that even my mother was worried and began to walk to the front from her seat.
"Ok everyone as you know the task is now over, please make your way back to the castle. Those we are involved in the task you are welcome to stay as well as some of Rey and Fleur's friends as we wait for Rey and Gabrielle to surface. There will be an update later once everyone has been accounted for!" Mother shouted across the stands.
Students started to walk back towards the castle looking quiet disappointed in the fact that they couldn't stay for the drama. A few people stayed, like those who were friends with Fleur and those friends with Rey whilst they waited with the rest of the the contestants. I was beginning to think that maybe Rey had tried to save Gabrielle well who was I kidding the goody to shoes obviously must have.
