Rose has already gone into a melt down and yes Poe too. I can't believe they have moved it forward. I have never been to a ball before so I'm incredibly excited but also nervous? Where am I going to get a dress from? Who am I going to go to the ball with?
"Rey we can go to Gladrags tomorrow as its Hogsmeade weekend." Rose chirped in my ear as I turned to her in a slight daze.
As soon as the yule ball was announce last night the hall had erupted into whispers about me and Kylo going together which was very intimidating. I mean I literal nearly died and Kylo did the only thing that a person with even a ounce of decency would have done and came to my aid. its not like he is in love with me or anything... right? No obviously he isn't I'm starting to sound like a 2nd year gossip.
Anyways back to the hand at matter. Rose , ever since the yule ball date was announced, has been talking my ear off about where I will be able to find the perfect dress. It's like when I had to buy a swimming costume all over again! Anyways she says there's this nice little shop called Gladrags and that I have to go to have a look there. Poe has also told me that Gladrags is a must to get the perfect dress. He is also coming with us apparently to get our dresses and poor Finn has also been forced to come along as well. Although he doesn't seem to mind overly as Gladrags has Wizard's clothes too so he is hoping to get his Tux from there. I can't even begin to imagine what Poe is planning on wearing to the ball.
Anyways tomorrow we are heading down to Gladrags and who knows what I'm going to end up with. I know that my friends are all going to end up forcing me to preform some kind of fashion show for them. They see it as there duty to do so because this is my first ball never mind my first magical ball. I wonder what Rose will be wearing or who she is going to the ball with. I wonder who the boys are going to go with too. I have seen the way that Poe and Finn have been looking at each other recently. The thing is though I'm not sure if they even know themselves. I know Finn has never really dated before and has certainly not said that he is gay or even bi but me and Rose have had many a plotting conversation about just that. I wonder how Poe feels about the whole thing.
Kylo POV
Great now Hux is even more on my case than he was before. What can I do? Literally I only did what any other decent human being would do, it doesn't matter that I was worried about Rey...does it ? Anyways that's not what I should be talking about right now I should be talking about the fact that this ball is in 2 weeks and I need to find a tux and a date to go. Why do I need a date do you ask? Well firstly its pretty stereotypical to have a date to any ball but the main reason that I need a date is to get the heat off of me and Rey. Maybe getting a date will stop all the rumours floating around.
I can't ask Phasma to the ball though because I'm pretty sure that she will be going with Hux anyways and she is also like a sister to me as I have know her since I was very young it just wouldn't feel right to do something like that to her.
