Rey POV
"Oh, Reyanna darling are you alright?"
It was very awkward being looked over by the headmistress of your school thankfully madam Pomfrey had left to tend to another student mere moments after I had awoken.
"Erm y-yes I think so."
"Good good child. I need to have a word with you in private."
"Should we go to your office Mrs?"
"No need Reyanna I will just cast a silencing charm."
With a flick of her wand we were surrounded by an invisible circle that meant nobody else in the room would be able to hear our conversation. I had a feeling I knew what this conversation was going to be about so I might as well get this over with.
"Reyanna you saved the school from the beast!"
"It was a Basilisk Mrs. and I did it when I was petrified, I was in a dreamlike state where nobody could see me, but I could do things as if I was really there."
"Well I'm very thankful of that child."
"Myrtle told me I must have the force because of that but at first I didn't believe her."
"No?"
"No, I thought it was impossible because well I'm just me Reyanna Jazz Isobel a girl from Jakku who lives with her adoptive father that treats her like a piece of trash which I know you and Kylo saw in the summer." I looked down ashamed I didn't want anyone to know about the way Unkar treats me.
"He is your adopted father? I can't believe how nasty he was towards you he has no right to hurt you." Leia looked genuinely angry as if it were her own child that had been abused.
"I guess I'm used to it now I have lived with him for years."
"So, do you know anything of your parent's child?"
"No only that they were muggles who left me with Unkar and never came back." I willed myself not to cry but my voice did crack a bit.
"How long have you lived with him?"
"Since I was around 4 or 5 years old."
"So, your parents were not of the force and were just muggles?"
"Yes, I believe so."
"So how did you defeat the monster Reyanna?"
"Well I tripped, and the monster was right on top of me when I got my lightsaber."
