"Good morning" I said coming out of my room with my laptop in hand running into Taehyung

"Good morning " Taehyung smiled then pointed to my laptop "What are you up to?"

"Well I finished editing my final books and submitted them last week officially resigning from my job so I am now looking for a new one. What are you about to do?"

"We have filming later so I'm going to relax and do nothing until it's time to go to work" He shrugged. I set my laptop on the table and grabbed an iced coffee.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course"

"I know your company finally got things under control and released that statement but is the intention to keep lying to everyone? Would it be so bad to reveal that we are all soulmates?"

"I don't think so, I think they are just buying time. They want to figure out the best way to reveal us to the world"

"Mm I guess that makes sense... Do you want people to know?"

"I do. I was totally in favor of telling the truth up front but after thinking about it more and talking it over with our mates and our company it makes sense to wait"

"It's making me anxious, feels like I'm waiting on the other shoe to drop but I can't even see it above me"

"Try not to worry too much about it Ma-ri, everything really is under control" Tae kissed my forehead then sat across from me at the table

"I believe you" it got quiet between us, the only sound coming from me tapping away on the keyboard. I could feel his eyes burrowing holes into my face "Why are you being a creep?"

We both chuckled as he looked away "Sorry, it's just that you are really pretty and I can't help it sometimes. I like your face"

"Thank you, I like your face too" I said, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Can I kiss you?"

I closed my mouth and swallowed. I don't know why I was surprised by his question, we are soulmates after all and I already smooched Jungkook.

"Yes" I blushed, his pretty rectangular smile appeared on his face. He stood up and motioned for me to do the same so I did, facing him. Taehyung was only two inches taller (5cm) than me so we were near equal footing. He placed his hands on my shoulder and rubbed my upper arms.

"Relax" he said with his deep soothing voice. I flexed my fingers then put my hands on his waist, Taehyung placed his left hand on my lower back and his right swung around to the back on my neck "Close your eyes"

I did as he said, my heart raced and I felt a knot in my stomach. He pressed his lips to mine, damn they were soft. I pressed back, gripping tightly as he made a move to pull away but I leaned in keeping our lips touching. He hummed a little then raised my hands from his waist to his shoulders, wrapping both of his long arms around my waist which put my chest on his and forced my arms around his neck.

He gently licked my top lip and I parted them for his tongue to further invade. It was so soft and sweet, like a perfectly ripe melon. He fed me more of his tongue as I moaned, involuntarily, at the feeling of our first kiss. I was definitely relaxed until my feet unexpectedly left the kitchen floor so out of fear of being dropped I wrapped my legs around him as he walked us to the counter and set me down. My fingers danced through the hairs near his neck as he continued to kiss. Taehyung's hands caressed my thighs creating a strong pulse not much higher than his hands reached.

Suddenly he detached himself from me and took a few steps back. Both of us were breathing a little harder and I was trembling. He licked his lips and dabbed at the corner of his mouth "Why'd you pull away like that?"
