While I was missing Ma-ri like crazy I was extremely happy that she was taking time for herself. Ever since we met, even before but especially since, her life has been a super twisty rollercoaster of events and I was tired for her. She was having a nice relaxing time at the resort from what Seokjin tells us and what parts I can see which was good. I wish I could be with her yet I'm glad I'm not. She'd be home in a couple of days, I think I could survive until then.

I spent most of my time holed up in my studio anyway when we weren't working on group related activities and this day was no different. It was my turn to check in on mom, so I called and spoke with her this morning. She's getting a little better every day but still has a long way to go. Ma-ri was so much like her mother, it was scary sometimes, they could be really sweet and easygoing but would not hesitate to tell you off if you deserved it. Today, Carla had physical therapy, so I didn't talk to her for long, just ten minutes but made sure she knew to call me or any of the guys if she needed anything. Mi-kyung and Minji also gave us updates throughout the day if anything were to change or went wrong.

A knock on the Genius Lab door pulled me back to reality. I got up to open the door to see Jin and Jungkook waiting.

"Can I help you?" I asked, standing in the door so neither of them could enter.

"Yeah, it's time to go home" Jin said with more authority in his voice than I'm used to "You've been holed up in here for damn near three days, come on."

I was actually speechless, so I just stared at him blankly with my mouth slightly hung open. Jungkook's eye bounced between us as he chewed on his bottom lip, a palpable tension was building between us; that much was clear. Not just us two, all seven of us since Ma-ri's gone for the time being.

"I'll meet you at ho-"

"It wasn't a suggestion Yoongi" he cut me off and grabbed the door, stepping closer until he was towering over me. I'm not easily intimidated but at that moment I did feel less than confident. "We're going, now."

"Ye-yes sir" I muttered with a step back.

The maknae's silence and sinister-looking smile made me even more nervous, Jin must really be wound up to come at me like this because it's very rare. And by rare, I mean I can count on one hand how many times he's needed to dominate me, although we have sex regularly; Jin hardly ever gets to this point.

I quickly made sure I saved my files and logged off my computer then cut off my equipment and packed up my bags. With my laptop bag and backpack secured, I turned off the lights. I surprisingly shared an emotional connection with Jungkook, and a physical connection with Jin and I could definitely feel the sudden spike in his need for a body. The ride home was quick, since none of us drove to work we got dropped off. I sat in one of the single chairs while they occupied the second row, Jungkook's head rested on our elder's shoulder. I shot Namjoon a text to see if something happened that I wasn't aware of that might've triggered Seokjin's sudden mood.
