"Taylor, I want an ice cream. Oh and cotton candy, too."
The girl was whining and wants to get her hands on an ice cream cone and cotton candy. She was a spoiled brat, if I might say. She was pouting at a boy who looks a lil bit older than her, her brother perhaps - the resemblance gave it away. The boy sighed and massaged his temples, clearly annoyed at his red-haired, bratty, little sister.
I laughed and shook my head, he smiled at me, put his arms around me, and messed my hair.
"If you become a spoiled brat like that girl, I swear, I'd disown you," he said still chuckling.
"Aww. C'mon, Scotty, we both know you wouldn't do that," I teased.
He stared hard at me. We stared at each other too long. Nobody blinked. A few seconds later, we were laughing like loons.
Everything happened so quick.
Laughter. Gun shot. Blood all over me. His bloody head on my lap. Another gun shot. Darkness.
I will never be perfect again. Physically perfect that is. I will forever be broken, with a gaping hole in my chest. I will be shunned and will be blamed for that day. Things will never be the same again. Never.
