Ch- 13: The Temple People

You woke up feeling exhausted. The slight pumping of your heart was heard in your head, as you had a small head ache. 

Turing your head on the bed that you were on you made the faint out line of what looked like Magna. 

Jumping up from your bed you didn't feel much pain from the damages you took from your fight just hours before.

Looking around you saw each of your squad mates laying on their personal beds. Stepping off of your resting place, your body was a sloth. 

You moved slowly looking over each of the faces till you met with Asta. 

Your body speed started accelerating as you stumbled over to hug your best friend, personal therapist and little brother. 

You picture him as that because. Well.......yea....... you know.

Y/n: " Asta? Asta?!"
Asta: " Good morning to you too y/n"
y/n: " I thought you died. How are your arms? Where's Moro?"
Asta: " My arms are ok and he's in another room with Kahono and Kiato"

You stood up about to leave to look for the mages till you were stopped by your boyfriend. He held you by your waist and started showering you with kisses. 

Everyone was waking from their slumbers till you heard cheering coming from the opened window.

Walking towards it, you saw at lest 1200 of the temple people were there. Thanking you for risking your lives against Vetto. Leaving you in tears and a warm heart. 

Walking out, you went looking for the room which Kahono, Kiato and Moro were healing in. You took more than one doors to find them, it was always the wrong one.

On getting to the right room, opening the door, you saw Noelle talking to the siblings. Looking at Moro in the corner on his bed. 

His arm was bandaged and hanging from the roofing of the room. His face was peacefully but you could see that he was in pain, by the scrunching of his eyebrows.

Y/n: " Kahono, Kiato.. Thank you for helping us."
Kiato: "Thanks y/n. Even though I might not be able to dance or my sis here might not be able to sing."
Y/n: "Guys.. you can still do it. No matter what. "

you walked over to the still scrunching man and placed your fingers in-between his eyebrows. His face relaxed and his eyes slowly opened. Reveling his ocean green eyes.

Y/n: "Stop scrunching your eyebrows. You'll get wrinkles."
Moro: " Hey y/n.."
y/n: " Moro-san."

He laughed at your comment and explained that after you started drifting in and out of consciousness, he was fighting and almost was split in half before Asta saved him.

Moro: " Y/n, what pushed you to get to your final attack?"
y/n: "Oh.. well am.. let's we just say there was a lil girl that give me something like this and then I saw the other half on you, I thought that I needed to protect you. No matter what. So I did"
Moro: " You really went far you know.?"
Y/n: " Ya I know"

|~ time skip ~|

Walking out of the temple to leave to back to the surface, the Black Bulls were greeted again by the crowd. 

In the frount were your newly found friends. The same little girl that gave you the half heart, walked up to you once more. 

Thinking she wanted the gem back, you placed out your hand for her to take it. But she didn't. She wrapped her tiny arms around your neck and said,

Little girl: " Thank you for protecting my big brother. You can have the gem then you can talk to us from here. We used to use it when big brother had training"
Y/n: " Thank you. I'll always keep in touch."

She placed her hand in the creasing of the half heart as you pulled her in for another hug. Finral opened a portal for you to leave. You ran up to Moro to sneak a quick hug. 

Turning around and walking back to Asta and Noelle, you heard a faint whisper. Then the entire could started singing the Songs to the Gods.

Tears threatened to escape the corners of your eyes as you saw the hurt girl work her already damaged voice box to work, as she tried to say Good Bye. 

You smiled as you walked into Finral's portal, finding the black bulls hideout in your eyeshot again.

Y/n, Asta: " Home, sweet home."

The feeling of being away from your friends under water, made you a little sad. So you held onto the gem wondering how you could have been able to call Moro. 

After trying to press down on it and twisting on it you gave up. You have forgotten how the little girl showed you to contact them.

Going to your room, you took a shower and went to bed rest and finish up your healing. Laying on your bed, with your back to the wall, you heard your bedroom door open, and close.

Finral: "Chocolate, you ok?"
Y/n: " Huhh.? Yea I'm- I'm sleeping."
Finral: "Then I'll sleep here too."

You were drifting in and out of your sleep as Finral's arms slipped around your waist your face still facing the wall. 

He layed with his face in the crock of your neck. His smoothing voice bought you comfort and peace. 

You fell asleep really fast due to his slow breathing and the feeling of his skin rubbing with yours.
