Ch.17- Sad News

y/n POV.

As Drew and I walked out of Nozel's bedroom, going towards ours, we were met with the younger Silva. His face seamed happy that I survived, apparently.

Solid: " Hey y/n we have a mission. Nozel gave it to me last night.
Y/n: "Why didn't you tell me last night you dumbass?"
Solid: "Because its due for today."
Y/n: "Oh.. Ok. So what's it about?"
Solid: "We have to deliver a royal to the Dimond border. And protect him buy any means."

A royal? Does Nozel think I'm stupid. I don't like royals. Some maybe nice but that's just a coverup for their real intentions. 

I just sighed and dropped on my bed. I looked at the half finished room. thoughts rushing through my head because of that royal dick face. Drew sat on my leg looking at me.

Y/n: " Hmmm.... I wonder. Drew, do you think we can finish this room in lets say, 15 minutes?"
Drew: "I think you might have a small spell that can help you move blood in a peaceful way."
Y/n: "Really dude? Let's see."

I took out my grimoire and looked throught the pages till I found a page that had a spell labeled, Gentle Blood. The description read: For the control of simple house chores, like painting, sweeping, moving appliances.

Y/n: "Drew, I think your way to smart."

I cast the simple spell as Solid watched from the door. Simple concentration. That's all that was needed for the task. In 10 minutes, the walls were complete. Next step was replacing. Solid helped me place back the things before sitting on my bed, with a face.

Y/n: " What is it mister perfect?"
Drew: "Mister perfect? phahahaa."
Solid: " Your bed is softer than mine. I don't know how its possible, I'm royalty and your..."
Y/n: "A commoner? An insect? tch."
Drew: " Solid... do not cross me... mess with my n/n and I'll use your blood in our spells."
Y/n: "Come on man drew, Don't scare the little royal like that. He's our comrade either way."

i walk out the room into the mess hall where there was a big long table, where all the members of the silver eagles were. 

There were two empty seats, one for me and the other for Solid. Nozel was at the head of the table, dressed in his uniform, with his usual braid in the middle of his forehead.

One of the empty seats were right next to Nozel, opposite his sister Nebra. I'm still not happy that Solid was thinking that way about me, so I decided to sit in that chair. 

The other empty seat was to the end near Thomas.

Sitting down next to Nozel, I held on to his shoulder, as a good morning. Drew came following me as my body hit the chair. 

He was acting sus, as Solid came into the room with a Band-Aid on his cheak. He looked at me and then looked away and walked to the empty seat. 

I looked at Drew with a ' What the fuck did you just do' face. He just smiled and open his mouth for me to feed him. 

I started laughing as I recognized that smile on his face and what it really meant. Sighing in slight defeat I just handed him a bite of bread.

Nozel: "So y/n, how did you sleep last night?"
Y/n: "I slept like a baby, thank you very much."

Nozel leaned in towards me and whispered in my ear.

"Your my baby."

I was drinking some tea in a teacup that I didn't quite admire. As he said that, some of the tea ended up going down the wrong pipe and I started choughing.

Drew: " N/n!"
Y/n: "Chough, chough. I'm- cough, I'm ok Drew. Excuse me, I have something to complete before I leave on my mission. Drew you can stay here and finish eating. Oh.. what time is the mission for? Because like, I have someone I have to talk to face to face."
Solid: " 5: 30 pm..."
Y/n: " Ok I'll be back before then. Thanks again Nozel."

I walk out of the mess hall and went straight to my room to get some things and my broom. Walking to the big door of the hide out and jumping on my broom flying to my destination.

Flying over Neon, and seeing the little café I adored. Seeing my favorite little lake where Finral and I had our first date. Till i saw my very wonderful base come into view. 

Stopping and gathering up my broom, propping it against the wall, walking up to the door that I loved, I knocked on it waiting for a response.

After 5 mins of complete knocking, I walked in and yelled, " Get yo asses outta bed. I'm home and dishes gotta do. I'm coming for you." I drop the little bag I had with me on the sofa and made my way up the stairs. 

Opening doors, and seeing your old squad mates. As you approached a very similar door you opened the energy bunny's door.

Asta: "Y/n...? y/n!! I missed you!!"
Y/n: " I've been only gone for one night. Wait, how did you get your arms fixed in 1 night?? I'm so sorry I couldn't help"
Asta: " Its ok y/n. Aside from that, when are you coming again?"
Y/n: "I might not be able to come for a while because of Nozel. I got missions to do. And tonight's my first one. We can meet up at random times for a hang out. I'm Hella excited."
Asta: " So cool!"
Y/n: "Go on down to the mess hall, I'm going to see Finral."

I walked out of Asta's bedroom and made my way around the twisted corridors of the mansion. Till I arrived. Knocking on it, I opened it to see his back facing the doorway. 

His adorable ash-blound hair rested on his pillow. Walking in, closing the door behind me, I sat on his bed as he turned to look at me, with red puffy eyes.

Y/n: "Baby? What's wrong? Why are you crying?"
Finral: "Why the fuck are you here?"
Y/n: "Dam, sorry for walking you up mister grumpy."
Finral: "Why are you here, y/n"
Y/n: " Am.. I wanna talk."
Finral: "So you couldn't write me a message or something?"
Y/n: "No because it's important. What did you mean yesterday when I was leaving?"
Finral: "Do I really have to say it?"
Y/n: "I need answers fin."
Finral. "*groan* I'm breaking up with you y/n."

'Breaking up? No way.' I feel my heart sink to my guts as I sat there just looking at the floor.

Heart: shattered. 

Abandonment: entering. 

PTSD: emerging to gobble me up. 

Yet I just stood up and walked to the door. Putting my hand on the doorknob before looking back and got his back again.

Y/n: " It's ok. Sorry for wasting your time and money. I'll leave now."

I couldn't tell if he meant it or if he didn't. As I shut the door behind me, I heard myself let out a shaky sigh. Turning and walking the opposite way from Finral's room. 

I got down to the mess hall to see everyone there. I held in my emotions as I plastered a smile to my face. I walked down and started talking with everyone. 

By the time I was almost finished, it was about 3 pm. I took my leave and went to the lake.

I sat on the warm grass, as tears fall from my e/c eyes. And rolled along my s/t shade of melanin. 'Why did he leave me? Was I not enough?' 

I've loved him for months, I would have never expected him to brake up with me. I heard a rustle in the bushes behind me. 

I stood up from the ground in my venerable state. A white and black bunny hopped out of the bushes. 

I sat back down as it stopped at my feet. Pulling it onto my lap and stroking it's fur. It's soft, delegate strands of hair slowly reminds me of how soft Finral's hair was.

Another rustle came from the bushes as I saw another bunny. Bigger than the one that was in my arms. 

It looked as thought it was attacked. I used my magic to heal it. I looked over to my right and saw the tree that Finral and I carved our initials into. I walked over to it, just to take one last glance.

As my eyes sight adjusted as I got closer, I was that it was scratched up as thought in an attempt to erase it. My eyes shot open in realization. 

I jumped onto my broom and flew back to the Silver Eagles base. Ignoring everyone as I made myself to my room. I saw Nozel.

Y/n: " I'm not doing the mission. I'm not feeling well."

That's all I said before closing and locking my door. Here comes the real pain....
