Chapter 13 - The Start

February 2nd The Fortress of Solitude
The House of Mystery materialised outside the fortress of Solitude and everyone inside followed Damian as they entered the Fortress when they entered the Heroes there were mid conversation.

"Clark I agree with Jon, we need to go find him he's been gone too long" Bruce said

"Guys it's Damian he'll be fine" Dick exclaimed

"I'm not waiting around another second and I'm not waiting for them to make a move I'm going to find him" Jon said

"Or I could find you" Damian said from behind him

"Dami!" Jon exclaimed as he flew towards him and wrapped him in a hug

"I missed you too" Damian said kissing him

"Where have you been" Jon asked

"Everyone meet the newest members of our team" Damian replied as they walked in behind him

"A new suicide squad and magicians" Bruce said

"Good to see you too Bats" Constantine remarked

"Ohh this place is nice and shiny" Harley stated walking towards Batman

"Have you thought about my offer" Bruce asked

"Yeah, I'm on board Bman" Harley answered

The ground began shaking again and they tried not to lose balance

"What was that" Ivy asked

"Something moving" Clark exclaimed

"What's below us" Damian asked

"Brainiac's ship" Clark answered

"They need it for something, anyone who can breathe in space get on it before we lose this chance" Bruce ordered

Jon kissed Damian before he, Clark, Hal, Doctor Fate, J'onn, Kon and Kara flew onto the ship moments before it ripped through the ground and began floating through the air. A hole opened in the force field around the planet and the ship went right through it.

"Okay what now" Harley asked

"We wait" Diana exclaimed

"We prepare" Damian stated

"Ohh look at you my sweet boy acting like your father" Talia said

"Mother shut up before I send you to where no one will find you" Damian spat

"Robin enough" Bruce said

"Tt, fine I'm going to train" Damian replied leaving

"Mom, Dad" Zack exclaimed entering with Helena beside him

"Zack" Zatanna replied hugging him

"How are you doing sport" Constantine asked

"I'm fine, what got you two here" Zack asked

"Baby bat did" Constantine replied

"I hate that name" Damian shouted from the hall

Above Earth
The Skull shaped ship was being brought into docking position with the biggest of the Armada ships. The Heroes on board hid wherever they could but close enough that they could see or here each other, they heard as the door opened and two sets of giant feet hit against the metal floor.

"You wanted your ship" Darkseid said

"Yes, it's the best way to spread your anti-life equation after we discover the final part" Brainiac stated

"Why is so special about your ship" Darkseid asked

"I built it" Brainiac answered

"So what's next in your plan for my guaranteed success" Darkseid asked

"We need to kill the Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman and Kryptonians as well as anyone who may be able to use their brain" Brainiac stated

Doctor Fate moved from his hiding position but made it look like he materialised in front of them with his magic.

"Who are you" Darkseid asked

"I am the protector of order and fate" Fate answered

"Get off my ship you have no business here" Brainiac ordered

"I cannot do that you bring chaos to the planet Earth therefore you are my enemy" Fate remarked

"Then we will crush you" Darkseid announced

The new god threw a punch at Doctor Fate but his hand bounced of a field he created, Brainiac then used his tendrils and surrounded Doctor Fate but before he stabbed Fate, Jon flew from his hiding spot and grabbed flew at his legs and dragged him across the floor.

"What no" Darkseid exclaimed he shot his Omega beam towards Jon but Doctor Fate bounced it back at him

Clark and Kara then flew out and knocked Darkseid into the wall then Hal flew out and surrounded him with a green bubble while J'onn went to help Jon and Doctor Fate with Brainiac.

"You think your winning" Brainiac stated

"We are" Jon boasted

"I don't think we are" J'onn stated

Martian Manhunter had said that because he had turned around to see the Coluan Robots and Parademons entering the ship all at once marching towards the heroes.

"What now" Jon asked still holding the Coluan down

"You stay here, we will deal with them" J'onn said

J'onn and Doctor Fate went to attack the marching enemies while Jon held Brainiac down until Brainiac threw him towards the wall it and he went through it. Brainiac went after him and grabbed his neck and held him in the air.

"Now you die" Brainiac said holding up a piece of kryptonite

"No I won't" Jon stated using his heat vision on the Coluan's arm

"What how did you resist the kryptonite" Brainiac asked

"My new suit has a tolerance to low levels of kryptonite" Jon answered hitting his jaw

"You will die for that" Brainiac replied grabbing his leg and throwing him into the wall

"Oww that hurt" Jon exclaimed holding his head

"Good" Brainiac said

Jon got his balance and flew at the Coluan but before he reached him he was flying into Damian and knocked him over

"Kent" Damian exclaimed

"What, how did we get back down here" Jon asked

"I pulled us out we were going to lose that fight" Fate replied

"I could have had some warning" Jon said

"Demon spawn I thought you liked him on top of you" Jason teased

"Todd" Damian exclaimed

Jon shot up and helped Damian up, they then gathered around a table, they began planning their next routes of attack. After that they did out a rota for watching the skies at night so people could rest and everyone would have equal work.
