Your bosses silently stare at you with wide eyes. You give them a second to collect themselves, but when they still don't respond, you try to break up the awkward moment with a joke.
"That bad, huh?" You say, knowing you look good. Jade is the first one to snap back to reality.
"You look lovely," Jade's voice pulls the other two back to earth.
"Say, you got a mirror anywhere?"The boys lead you to the nearest empty room in their dorm so you can check yourself out in the full length mirror. The dress hugs every curve perfectly, lavish black fabric cascading from your hips to the floor. Your short heels bring your calf muscles to life, and the pearl necklace serves to draw eyes to your chest, which is covered just enough to leave everything to the imagination. The dress was made for you and you were made for this dress.
"This is the nicest, most expensive thing I've ever worn, yet I've never felt more like a cheap whore," you say this more sadly than sarcastically. The twins are unmoved by this reaction, but Azul is almost saddened by it. He lays a hand on your bare shoulder. You flinch, but don't pull away.
"You look great, I promise," he gives you a small, genuine smile. You inhale sharply before responding.
"I know, I know... it's not that bad, I'm just... not so used to dressing up," you try not to upset him further. Of all the creepy things these guys have done, buying you a fantastic dress is not the worst. "So, you got some kind of orientation for me?" Azul perks back up and you head back to the Lounge."Everything you need to know is in here," Jade hands you a massive binder. You're sure you've never read anything this long, even when you were in school. You skim through it to see it full of prices, special deals, banned customers, and the like.
"This is a lot," you tell them, intimidated by this novel in your hands.
"The break doesn't end for a few weeks, so you'll have plenty of time to memorize it. We'll show you where everything is, then you can read through it," Azul informs you before the three lead you around on a tour. They show you how to serve drinks from the taps and where the kitchen is, promising you that the only reason you'll have to go there is to pick up dishes, not to cook or clean anything. When they finish giving you the run down, you get to work studying the binder that you can swear weighs more than you. They give you your space while you read in the VIP room, lounging on the couch. 'I gotta hand it to them, they know comfortable furniture.' You reach the section about notable people on campus. You're not sure why you need to know this stuff, but you don't want to skip it just for it to turn out to be important later. Just as you're reading about a third year student named Leona Kingscholar, you hear something going on in the restaurant. You're about to get up to check it out when Azul comes in to fill you in.
"Y/n, something came up. We won't be around for awhile. Sorry to put this on you so soon, but can you take over here? You most likely won't have any customers during the break."
"What!? Just like that? What if someone gets violent with me or something!?" You're completely exasperated at this development.
"In the unlikely case something does go wrong, call any one of us and we'll be here immediately. If you need to find us, we'll be in Scarabia dorm, I swear as a gentleman, you will be safe," Azul puts his hand over his heart to emphasize his promise. You can't help but be embarrassed at his display of fake chivalry.
"I-I'm holding you to that!" You shout as he leaves. Defeated, you drape the binder over your head and sink as far into the couch as possible. 'Please please please don't let there be any customers.'
