Radio Silence

You're not sure how long you were zoned out on the couch when your bosses came back. You don't know if things got violent or not; the guys didn't have a thread nor hair out of place, but their satisfied smiles told you they must've done something. You get up to talk to them face to face.
"Hey, I'm really sorry I caused a scene. I... probably could've handled that more gracefully..." you rub the back of your neck.
"I would have preferred if it was dealt with more quietly, but I can't fault you for reacting the way you did. But look, those men felt so bad about how they treated you, they asked us to give you this tip from them as an apology!" Azul hands you several crumpled bills, totaling 15,000 Madol. The state of the bills made it obvious they were taken by force.
"HAH! How generous of them!" You laugh with an evil grin and pocket your loot. "Maybe I'll be able to afford that new mattress after all..." you say this without a thought, but it hits Azul and the twins in a strange way. This was the first time it really struck them that you're not in a great position. They look at you with faint sorrow, freaking you out.
"Um? What's with the looks? Thanks for dealing with those guys, but I'm fine now..." you shift uncomfortably on your feet.
"Y/n... are you sure you don't want to move into the dorms?" Azul asks in a much more sincere voice than the last time he asked.
"Um, that's still gotta be a hard pass from me. Can't deal with all these pervs in my downtime."
"I'm serious, Y/n. You wouldn't have to pay rent anymore, and we could look out for you. Plus, you'd wouldn't need to make the commute," Azul tries his best to convince you.
"Azul, I need my own space. I have zero interest in being surrounded by hormonal boys 24/7, even if it is safe. I am BEGGING you not to ask again," you start packing your few belongings into your purse. "Look, is it okay if I take the rest of the day off?" You ask, one foot out the door. Azul gives you a defeated sigh.
"Very well. Get home safely, Y/n."
As you're leaving, the remaining patrons call to you, asking if you're alright.
"I'm fine, thanks guys! Sorry for disrupting your meals! I'll be leaving early."
"It wasn't your fault! If I see those guys around campus, I'll kick their asses!" One of the patrons shouts.
"Yeah, they won't get away with this!" Another chimes in. You respond with a laugh that makes every customer's heart flutter.
"Thanks boys! See you tomorrow!" You tell them, though you're not sure you're really going to come back.

Azul and the twins share a look with each other. They knew this was a possibility, but now that you were harassed for real, they felt guilty for putting you in this situation. They went about the rest of the work day as normal, but Azul's heart wasn't in it. The twins took notice of Azul's low mood.
"Azuuul, you've been down since Sea Bunny-chan left," Floyd points out.
"Hm, have I?" He blankly asks. Azul stands in place, thinking about when they first met you at your old job. He was instantly struck by your beauty. He could swear it was love at first sight. Then you actually came up to them, and your bad attitude was rather intriguing to him. There was a mystery about you, and a clear strength on display even without the use of any magic. And when the Octavinelle trio takes interest in someone, you can bet they're going to dig into that person's life. What they found out only interested them more. With absent parents and a minor criminal record, it was obvious you were quite tough. But if he really wanted to get to know you, he would have to do it in person, leading to his attempts to hire you. He was sure the fine students of NRC were decent enough people to let this plan go by smoothly, but he was sorely disappointed.

Overnight, Azul had tried to push down his guilt. He thought he did an okay job of it, but when the time for your shift rolled around and you weren't there, his stomach sank. You sent no texts warning of tardiness or absence. First, he texted you. Then, he texted again. Then he called. Then he had Jade call. His anxiety grew every minute you didn't answer. 'What if something happened to her on the way home?'
"We need to find her!" With that, he left the Lounge in the care of his employees, and took Jade and Floyd along with him on the way to your house, recruiting Kalim and his magic carpet to get them there faster. They pulled up at the shitty apartment complex that they knew you lived at despite you never telling them. Azul clumsily bolted to your apartment and rang the doorbell. Jade, Floyd, and Kalim caught up to him, and the four began incessantly banging on your door. After five minutes of no response, they just plain broke the doorknob off, Azul silently promising to pay for repairs. They all rushed into the apartment in search of you when Kalim finally found you in your room, completely safe, listening to loud music with noise canceling headphones.
   "Who the fuck are you?!"
