I typed in Adrian's phone number and sent him a text telling him it's me and asking if he was free tomorrow. About two minutes later he replied saying he was then I told him to meet me at my gym by 12 pm so he could show me the steps he had. With that set I braced myself and walked out of my room, Alex is neither in the sitting room or the kitchen. I make myself a PB and j sandwich and a cup of chocolate. I know not the healthiest dinner but anything other than that will result to a burnt kitchen and I don't want that.
Taking enough blankets from my room Incase I fall asleep, I settle on the longest couch and browse true Netflix after going around I decide to settle for insatiable.
Half way through the movie my eyes are already heavy and I'm struggling to keep them open. Then the front door opens and Alexa walks in. I'm not sure if she sees me but she sit on the couch beside me. A small part of me, really small part of me wants to ask her what the problem is but like I said really small part the other one wants her out of my sight. I not given the chance to decide which part I follow because she speaks first.
"I miss him you know" maybe she's drunk but Alexa is more of the horny drunk kind. I look at her again to make sure it's Alexa Brittle sitting next me.
"Do you ever wonder why I hate you so much" she asked.
I did a lot, some nights I would stay up and think, I would ask myself where I went wrong, where I missed it but not any more, not after I decided not to care.
"No Alexa, you know why because I don't care" I snap and stand up
"Make sure you put off tv before you leave" I say and Storm into my room. The nerve of that bitch.

Covered in sweat and breathing really hard I make my to my bathroom and wash my face. When I check the time it's a few minutes past three.
I go back to my bed, lie down and stare at the ceiling untill my alarm goes off by six then I have my bath and finish my morning routine. When I'm done I decide to go for a run. Walking past my car I notice my flat tyre, that's going to be a problem, I have no idea how to fix a tyre, my mechanic wouldn't be able to get here before my meeting with Adrian.
After calling my mechanic to pickup the car, I decide to text Adrian and ask if he could pick me up, he agreed few minutes later in his reply.
It's a few minutes to twelve and I'm in my room deciding what to wear, usually I don't put effort into what I wear and I've definitely stopped dressing to impress anyone but secretly I know I want to impress him even though I may never admit it, I feel like high school me again.
My phone dinged with a notification, it was a text from Adrian saying he was outside so I sent the security guy a text telling him to let him in.
Making sure I look good enough, I leave my room, when I get to the sitting room I find Alex talking to Adrian, or rather flirting. And irritated would be an understatement to what I feel right now.
She has one hand on his chest and the other twisting her strawberry blonde hair, she's trying to seduce him and I know because I've since it work on many guys.
Adrian sees me first since he's the one facing me. He looks relived and he waves at me.
"Kerna hey" he says and walks around her to me.
"Of course" Alex mumbles under her breath and rolls her eyes, she eyes me then smiles at Adrian.
"Call me" she says before swaying into her room.
"Bitch" I curse under my breath, when I look at Adrian I find him already staring at me.
"Can we go" I snap, he nods and we walked out of the apartment to his car in a well appreciated silence.
