Kerna's POV.
I took the hair brush and ran out to the house next door which
happens to belong to my mother's friend who is also a lecturer in SLU.
I ring the doorbell and counted to ten, I was about to ring again when the door opened.
"hey Hilda "I greeted, she looked surprised for a while before smiling and letting me in
"Karen what a surprise, I didn't know you knew I lived here right next to you "
"Kerna " I corrected "and of course I know you live here " I replied and rolled my eyes. Hilda is 34 she had been friends with my family for a long while and she helped me get into SLU that's why she is keeps calling me Karen a name I no longer answer.
"so why re you here " she questioned
"to see you, the girls aren't home so I decided to drop by and say hi " I lied I'm here because she has a dog and I have a brush and a crave for revenge.
"I'll get you something to drink " she said and went into the kitchen. Then her puppy ran out.
"hey puppet " I said and patted the dogs head and I it wagged it's tail
"did you miss me"
"woof"
"ya you did"
"woof woof "
"I have a gift for you "
"woof"
"com'n " I brushed the dogs fur with Alexa's hair brush .
"here you go dear " Hilda hands me a glass of orange juice , I quickly hide the brush before she sees it
"thanks hilda" I say and take the drink from her and drink it. "I'm sure the girls will be back by now I have to go, but I'll visit some other time " I say and get up to leave
"wait " she called out
"yes "
"your mum called she said she has been trying to call you but you weren't answering her calls, she's really worried about you also she wants to know if you would be coming home for Christmas this year, I think you should call her back "
"I will but she doesn't have to call you to get to me, if I don't want to speak to her then she should understand that " I say and walk away.
Mum has been pestering me more lately it's either because of my course or she wants me to attend some huge charity event with her. I love my Mum alot but I deserve a break .
I got home and went straight to Alex's room. My finger print can open all the doors in the house but the others don't need to know that .
Alex's room is red and white, just her personality.
I place the brush by her dresser before leaving her room and locking it.
About five minutes later Presley came in.
"hey "she says acknowledging my presence. Pres and I don't talk much she takes drugs and I don't like to associate with that stuff, not judgy just careful, also she's some how related to Alexa.
Thirty minutes later everyone is home well except Alexa, she can take her time. I'm not in a hurry.
I'm sitting on the couch with Meg and pretty we're meant to be watching a movie but pretty has been staring at her phone while Megan seems more concentrated on her bag of chips and I'm thinking about mum, home, the new guy.
An hour later Alex finally came back , she went straight to her room and hasn't come out since,
Well maybe she doesn't care.

Alex's door flew open and a steaming Alex stormed out.
"who the fuck useđ my hairbrush"
She yelled, she got even more mad when everyone ignored her
Her eyes scared everyone before landing me .
"Kerna "she called
I don't see why she would suspect me I don't have dirty blonde hair .
"yes"
"did you use my hairbrush "she asked
I gave her a plain look "do you mean the hairbrush with name on it? . Well yes why? "I repeated her words from in the morning, she must have realized this because she put a tomato to shame immediately.
"how come you're not even blond" she pouted
"nope, Mrs Helen's dog is "I said returning my attention to the TV.
"you did what "she screamed
I got up and went to her, I stood really close to her.
"stay away from my things okay " I whispered in a really low threatening voice, then wink and left to my room.
"you shouldn't have touched her cake" I heard Meg say before I entered my room.
