Y/N asked Gojo to help his students in today's mission, and of course he agreed. The flame Hashira was excited to fight curses for the first time. She knew they might not be like demons, but she could help protecting them.
They all stood in front of a big abandoned building that appeared to be an asylum. Gojo placed his hands in his pockets, "Alright! Here's the curses filled building, this will be easy for you all." He said, earning a look from his three students that yelled 'I don't believe that.'
"I don't trust you in this." Megumi spoke up, crossing his arms and raising his eyebrow suspiciously.
Gojo sweatdropped and smiled nervously. He was about to speak up, but Y/N beat him in doing so, "Let's not be pessimistic, Gojo san is trying to raise your self-confidence!" She said loudly and brightly.
"Aw, adorable chan is defending me~ I'm touched!" Gojo thought, mentally fanboying. He clapped his hands, "Very good! Now in you go!" He said, giving them a thumb up.
Yuji's POV:- After sensei's 'explanation', we head inside, the building is so ominous. Sheesh, and he said it will be easy.
"We must split up into two teams to cover more area." Megumi said, summoning his two dogs.
I quickly raised my hand, "I'm with Y/N san!" I yelled which made Y/N laugh.
"What!? I want to be with her! She is my best friend!!" Nobara retorted, pointing at herself.
This made me get angry, "I'm going with her! I said that first!" I protested, I'm not giving up that easily. We continued to fight over who is going with Y/N, but we stopped when we heard her loud voice.
"I will be going with Megumi kun!" She firmly said, her smile was still on her face, but I could feel that she is serious about it.
Megumi looked confused for a moment, but then nodded, "Y-Yes, we will take the east side and you both take the west side." He instructed.
I huffed and agreed, "Alright then. If this's what Y/N san wants, then I won't argue." I said and looked away. He is so lucky, I envy him so much. I WANTED TO BE WITH Y/N SAN!!!!
After studying our plan, we separated our ways, me with Nobara and Megumi with Y/N.
"Heh, no luck kid." I heard Sukuna's voice in my head, "Shut up!" Ugh, this is going to be hell!

Megumi's POV:- Me and Y/N walked around quietly, it was very awkward. From the corner of my eyes, I could see her smile still on her face. How could she keep smiling even in a place like this? There has to be something behind her smile. Is she hiding her pain?
"No need to worry about me Megumi." And just as if she was reading my mind, she spoke up.
I pretended to be confused and looked at her, "I have no idea about what you mean." I said and she laughed.
"You're a good guy, Megumi kun. You remind me of a friend of mine." She said, her face became soft, "He always distances himself from us, but I know he is good at heart and kind... just like you." She added and I could feel a blush creeping up my face. Thankfully it was a bit dark here.
I gave a faint smile, "Thanks... This means a lot to me."
Her laugh rang in my ears, "No problem, you should keep smiling, it suits you!"
I opened my mouth to reply, but a curse jumped in front of us. I pulled Y/N behind me in a protective manner.
"Is this how curses look like? There's a great difference between demons and curses." Y/N spoke up.
I frowned, "They are disgusting things."
The curse started to attack and we both jumped in separated ways. I used my curse energy to fight it, but it was so fast. An arm suddenly appeared from its back, grabbing me by my ankle and slamming me against the ground. Damn it, I didn't expect this curse to be so fast.
It was about to attack me, but Y/N kicked it away, "You're annoying! I will deal with you by myself!" She then looked at me with a determined smile, "Let me do the job, Megumi kun." She told me and pulled out her sword.

My eyes widen seeing flames coming out of her sword as she pulled it, "Attack me with everything you have!" She said with a confident smile.
The curse never hesitated to attack and Y/N didn't move, "What are you doing? Move away!" But my warning fell upon deaf ears. Y/N just received the hit, making dust and dirt raise up. After it cleared, Y/N was nowhere to be seen, "Where did she go?" I thought, looking around.
The curse as well looked around in search for Y/N, "Flame breathing: second form: raising scorching sun!" I saw Y/N suddenly appear behind the curse and swang her sword upwards, making her flame go in a circle shape, resembling a sun. This was enough to cut the curse to half and shock me. She is so powerful and strong.
I quickly stood up and exorcised the curse since Y/N doesn't have a curse energy.
Y/N started to laugh, "That was easy! Let's go and finish the mission, Megumi kun!"
The only thing I could do right now was just nod and follow after her.

Third Person's POV:- "For once, that was fast... and you didn't get injured... badly." Gojo said while tilting his head.
Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara where all injured and they felt the urge to punch Gojo right now. However, Y/N was unharmed since she has great reflexes and stamina.
"So Y/N, how was your first mission?" Gojo asked her.
"Not bad, it's way easier then killing demons." She cheerfully said.
Gojo hummed, "That's good I guess. Anyway, let's go and eat something! I'm starving!"
Nobara quickly went to Y/N and grabbed her hand, "Come along Y/N, I want to chat with you." She said while pulling Y/N away.
"Hey! Wait for me!" Yuji followed after them while calling.
Both Gojo and Megumi walked calmly, "So how was she?" The white haired man suddenly spoke up.
Megumi thought for a moment, "I don't know what to say, but she is strong. Probably stronger then you even."
This seemed to hit Gojo in the heart, but he keep his composure, "Nah, I'm the strongest, I just know this." He said keeping his smile while slightly moving ahead of Megumi, "Y/N is strong, but not like me... Right?"
