Is It Normal To Be Attacked By Psychos? (Marinette's POV)

2 weeks later

Kelli was staring daggers at me as I yet again kept her from getting Adrien alone. She had spent the past two weeks trying to be alone with him, and yet I always third wheeled. Adrien always allowed me to come with them on their dates or outings. It was disgusting watching her put her hands everywhere, and him completely dazed the entire time she was with him.

I grabbed Adrien's arm, and suddenly, it was like a bucket of cold water was dumped on him. He looked between us and said, "Marinette?" I smiled at him, turning on any kind of charm I had, and said, "I have a few designs I want you to check out after school. Could you help me?" He nodded, and Kelli hissed, "But Adrien! You said you would hang out with me alone after school today."

He rubbed the back of his neck, "Sorry, Kelli, but my friend needs my help." Kelli snarled, and looked at me, "Can we talk, Marinette? Girl to girl?" I nodded, carefully. I knew she was getting fed up at having me interrupt her Adrien time.

I followed her to the bathroom, only to find her seething in front of a sink. She said, "I knew you were one of them, but I hoped you would have enough smarts to stay out of an empousai's business." I raised an eyebrow, "Empousai?" She turned on me, and I noticed her eyes flickered red.

She said, "I've always hated half bloods." I widened my eyes, "Half bloods?" She snarled, and her nails extended into claws, "Stop repeating everything I'm saying." I crossed my arms, and shook my head, "I'm not. I'm just clarifying."

She snarled, and ran at me. It was suddenly like time slowed. I knew exactly what she was about to do, and how she was going to do it. She was about to try to kill me. I ducked, and swiftly moved behind her. I hit her in the middle of her spine, forcing her to fall to the ground. My mouth was wide and I stuttered, "Y-You were going to kill me."

Kelli snarled, nodding, "It has been a long time since I last devoured a demigod. I hope you are honored, half breed." I stepped back, accidentally hitting the wall. She snarled, running at me. And that's when her friends joined in.
