From the second the new girl showed up, I knew she was trouble. She was a brunette, and seemed all around perfect. But that wasn't the problem, as much as Alya liked to say it was. Something felt... off. About the way she flirted nonstop with Adrien, and how she dismissed everyone else.

She was standing with Adrien after school, her hand on his shoulder as she laughed. He looked slightly dazed, and I heard her say, "So, Adrien, would you want to hang out with me after school today?" He slowly nodded, seeming completely out of it. I stepped forward and said, "Adrien."

His head snapped up, and he seemed to get a little more aware. He said, his speech slurred, "Wha?" I blinked slowly and said, "You have a photoshoot after school today." He shifted, and Kelli's hand slipped off his arm, causing her to hiss. A little too much like a feral cat. He said, "Yeah, Sorry, Kelli."

I nodded, and said, "See you tomorrow, Adrien." He nodded, waving as he left the school. I turned back to Kelli who was snarling at me. She sized me up, before walking away. I shook my head at her, then turned and walked to my home. I laid on my bed the second I got to my room, and put a pillow over my face.

I screamed loudly into it, and Tikki floated beside me, "What's wrong, Marinette?" I put the pillow beside me, "I'm worried, Tikki. Because what if she's actually a good person and I'm just crazy? Or jealous?" Tikki landed beside me and said, "Marinette, I think you should trust your gut. Try to get to know her. Because when you tried to get to know Lie-la, she showed her true colors, but now you and Kagami are friends."

I nodded, "But I was too harsh with Lie-la." Tikki shrugged, giggling, "I know, but she wasn't a very good person, was she?" I shrugged, "I don't know." Tikki landed on my hand, "Maybe you should transform and follow her. See what she does."

I sat up, holding her close to my face, "That's actually a really good idea, thanks Tikki." I stood up, transforming quickly and leaping out my window. It wasn't hard to track her down. I found her, with a group of other "perfect" girls, and they were talking. And that's when Chat landed beside me.
