This demigod was special, even I could tell that much. I leaned against the wall, Tyson standing behind me while I waited for her to answer the door. Eventually, she pulled open the door and I could immediately tell she was in shock from something. I tilted my head when I saw her parents behind her and I said, "You told them, right?"

She didn't say a word, just nodded. I sighed and said, "May I come in? Are you ready to go?" She said, slowly, "I-uh-I need to finish packing." I nodded, and watched as she ran up the stairs. I sat down in her living room, and her mom said, "You must be the demigod bringing my daughter to camp."

I nodded, and her dad said, "Make sure she stays safe." I nodded, "Of course. She couldn't be safer than at camp. I'll personally make sure she doesn't get hurt." They nodded, and grabbed each other's hands. I smiled, hoping Annabeth and I would soon have a life like this. A few minutes later, Marinette walked downstairs.

She had a backpack and a suitcase. Her parents walked over and her parents hugged her. They said, "We love you." She nodded, hugging them back, "As far as I'm concerned, you are my real parents." Then, she turned to me, and I said, "Want any help?"

She shrugged, and I grabbed her suitcase. When we left, I handed it to Tyson, who easily put it on his back. She asked, "So, are we taking a plane?" I shook my head, "No. Absolutely not." She closed the door behind her and said, "Um, okay?"

I shook my head, "Zuess doesn't exactly like me." She tilted her head, "Zuess is married to Hera, right?" I nodded, "Good job. You know your stuff." She paled, "Yeah. let's not do planes." I raised an eyebrow, "Why? Already got beef with a goddess?" She fidgeted with her backpack, and I knew there was something she wasn't telling me, "You could say that."

I let it go, and said, "We're going to go with a friend of mine." She tilted her head, and Nico walked away from the corner of the building. Mrs. O'leary behind him. Tyson was going to bring her stuff to camp with the dog, and I was going with Marinette and Nico.

Tyson held out his hand towards Marinette, "I take your bags." She shook her head, holding her backpack protectively, "Uh, no. I got this one." I raised an eyebrow, "Okay then. Let's go. Grab hands."

She nodded, and grabbed Nico's hand. He widened his eyes and mouthed to me, "Who is she?" I shrugged, and she looked between us. I grabbed her other hand, and she said, "So, what do we do now?" Nico grinned evilly, "You don't do anything. Just wait."
