Chapter 28

There are things we couldn't get back in time so the best way to do is to appreciate every little things in our life. Acrisius came to my life unexpectedly. I didn't even have that idea that I would fall for him. Each day that I am with him is always a memorable day. I know we started in a childish relationship but as time goes by we are getting matured especially me. I noticed that I'm growing and that's all because of him.

I can't stop staring at him while he's busy grilling some fish and pork barbeque. It's December 31 today and we are preparing for welcoming another year. I just hope it will be good to us cause this year is really a tough year for me. A lot of things happened. Some of it are painful memories but still I should be grateful because I already know the truth about myself and also I met Acrisius.

I heard someone horn from the outside and I'm pretty sure it's Bon. I'm here at their residence and I will be joining them to celebrate for the New Year's Eve. I stand up to open the gate for him because their bodyguards and maids went home so nobody is going to do it.

After he parked, he get down from his car and remove his shades. He started to come to our place and here comes his 'rich kid cool walk' HAHAHAHAH feel na feel niya talaga 'e.

"I bought some fruits, can you help me get them?" he asked and I just nodded. "Don't worry kaunti lang naman mga 'yon" he added while eyeing to his brother who is now looking straight to him.

"Cut that crap!" I said and went to their parking lot. I opened the door at the backseat and too my surprised it almost occupied the whole car. It's raining fruits. "So you call this kaunti lang?" I asked when he came and he quickly nodded. Hays dili nalang talaga ako mag speak HAHAHA.

After setting the tables for our dinner I went to help Acrisius. We decided to have the dinner outside the house near the pool and of course we will be having a pool party later. Kuya Grey ordered a lot of champagne and letchon. I also prepared some dish like the creamy mashed potatoes, cheese balls, crispy chicken thighs with garlic and roasted shrimp.

We're almost done cooking and preparing. I went inside to prepare and put some light make up. I saw their Mom went down the stairs. I already see her many times but I still have no conversations with her. I mean we do but it's just a casual conversation not like what Acrisius and Mom have. I bow down a little and greet her.

"Good evening po." I said and smile. She just nodded then hugged me. My eyes automatically widen cause I didn't expect this. "Advance happy new year, darling." she speak. I gulp and blink for how many times.

"T-thank you po Ma'am." I compliment and I saw a curve on her lips. "No for Ma'am endearments. You can call me tita if you want or mama." she said in a wide smile. She's just joking right? I don't know what should I response so I also replied with a wide smile.

"I like you for my son, darling. You bring back the old Eion Acrisius to us." she said leaving me dumbfounded. Did I just misheard her? Because if not, what does she mean by bring back the old? Do I not know something? Weird.

I just wear a simple casual peach dress and partner it with a flat sandals. It exposed the half of my back and shoulders. I also tied up my hair.

When I went outside they're almost there. Dev and Ryssi is also here and some of kuya Grey's friend. I looked around but I didn't saw Bree for the whole day so I'm just wondering if she'll be joining us tonight.

"You okay?" Acrisius asked and hold my waist he's now holding a glass of champagne. "Yes but why Bree is still not here?" I asked but it seems like he didn't care. "I didn't see her the whole day." I added. "She went to her friend's house and still not going back since yesterday." he answered.
