Chapter 12

"New set of friends?" I heard Kylie said and sit beside me. I just glanced at her and went back on reading my footnote. Yesterday was not good to me so I just wanted to take a break from stress. "You can't avoid us." she said that made me stop from reading. I face her and sighed.

"Yes, new sets of friends." I started. I don't want to be bad at her cause after all she still my friend. "Friends that never judge me based on what they see. And also friends that treat me as their family." I added and pack up my stuff. I quickly left our classroom and went down. Our subject teacher didn't come so we don't have class.

I went to the cafeteria and open my MacBook. I edited those typo on our research study and save it. I saw Chi going to my place and she sit in front of me. "Hi. Are you mad?" she asked. I stop from typing and look at her. I shook my head. "No." I answer. She smiled at me and held a deep breath. "Sorry about what happened last time." she said.

"Why are you saying sorry? I don't remember anything bad you did to me." I said. She bit her lip and hug me. "You're not mad?" she asked and I just nodded. "Thank you Aziel. Anyway I have to go." she said and wave a goodbye.

I went back on reading our study when another someone sit in my front. I glanced at him and my eyes widen seeing it was Devon. "What are you doing here?" I asked and he just shrugged. "No class" he said. "Same here" I also said. He stand up and order something. I thought it's for him but he push me a cup of coffee and spaghetti in my table. I look at him questionable but he just frowned.

"Sa sobrang daldal ni Ryssi hindi ka na nakakain kanina." he said smiling. I just rolled my eyes to him and laugh. "Thank you but I'm not hungry." I said but instead of answering me he filled the fork with spaghetti and put it in front of my mouth so my eyes automatically widen. "Ano ka ba! Mamaya maissue nanaman 'yan." I said and get the fork on his hand. He just laughed at me.

"The important is we know the truth." he said. I can't stop smiling thinking that he and Iris are matured enough. "So what about the tea you spilled last time about cheating, sex and Iris?" I asked but his forehead creased. "Iris?" he asked.

"I mean Bonjour, Ryssi called him Iris before I thought you know." I explained so he nodded. "Fake news." he said that made me laugh. "So no cheating?" I asked and he nodded. "No sexual something?" I said while laughing and he just nodded again. "So what do you mean about the 'pangangailang na hindi mo maibigay' you said last time?" I asked.

He pack up my things and I just watched him do it until he motioned me to follow him. We went to Henyo Corner and sit on one of the table. Henyo Corner is the study place for the nursing student and sometimes we are allowed to go here but we need to maintain the silence.

"Is it too private para dito mo pa sabihin?" I asked and he quickly nodded. I sit down and I put my hands under my chin waiting for him to tell the story. "Ryssi once asked me to— you know?." he said straight and my eyes widen.

"OMG!!! Seriously?" I asked in confusion and he nodded. I was surprised about what he said. I really can't believe Ryssi did it. I mean she's too conservative dude! "Is this a sick joke?" I unbelievably asked but he rolled his eyes and cross his arms. "I really loved Ryssi so bakit naman ako magsasabi ng hindi totoo tungkol sakaniya?" he said.
"Okay, so did you-

"No. I respect her as my girlfriend." he said. I really admire this man when it comes on loving her girlfriend. "What if she begged?" I asked but he just shook his head.

"Hindi ko naman siya masisisi kung hahanapin niya 'yon sa iba," he said and sighed. "Basta sabihin niya lang sa'akin para hindi ako magmukhang tanga." he added. I look into his eyes and then again I see the sadness. My feelings for him was starting to fade. Kung may nararamdaman man ako ngayon ay awa. I pitty him for giving everything to Ryssi but-

"Aziel. . ." I looked at the engineering building and saw Bon asking me to come to him. Nagpaalam na ako kay Devon and get my things. "What" I asked when I reach his place. "Your driver is looking for you." he said and pointed kuya Marlon at the parking lot. "Okay, thanks!" I said and wave a goodbye.

I rushed to the parking lot. "Kuya Marlon," I said while I was breathing deeply. He glanced at me and open the door of the car. "Bakit po?" I asked. "Pinapasundo kayo ng Daddy mo." he said so I quickly get in and he closed the door. My phone light up and vibrated so I looked at it and saw Bon message me.

Bonjour: Hi :)) You okay?

Aziel: Yeah. Pinapasundo kami ni Daddy.

Bonjour: Okay take care bitch and if you need help we're one call away.

Aziel: HAHA. Sure thanks. ((:

I put back my phone inside my bag and the car was already inside the gate of our house. Bumaba na ako at pumasok sa loob. I saw my Mom sitting at the couch with Aiver. I kiss at my Mom's cheeks and Aiver's lips. Nagmano ako kay Daddy at tumabi kila Mama.

"Here" Daddy said and held a money to me. My eyes widen after seeing it. Papalayasin na ba nila ako? Kasi I saw a luggage at the balcony 'nung makarating ako e. I just look at the money and back to my Dad's face. I gulped. "Bakit po 'yan?" I politely asked.

"Your allowance for the next three months." he said and I quickly look at my Mom and she nodded. "Why are you giving me that?" I asked. Hindi naman nila ina-advance ang allowance ko ever since so I was wondering if why are they giving my allowance for the next three months.

"I'm going on a business trip." he said and I held a deep breath. I thought they were asking me to leave the house. I get it and starts to went upstairs but he stopped me. "Aziel" he called me so I quickly look back. "Po?"

"Take care of your brother and don't give your Mom a headache." he said. I tried to keep myself calm. After all this time sakit pala ako ng ulo sakaniya tsh. I just nodded and go to my room.

I sit down the couch and take of my shoes. I put my legs at the top of the table and bring my phone. I didn't bother to change my clothes. I was busy browsing my twitter when my Mom entered my room. I glanced at her and my eyes widen. She was carrying a tray with burger and fries. She held the milktea at me and sit beside me.

"I just wanted to thank you for being the perfect daughter even we failed as the best parents."
