Chapter 9

I'm busy doing a lot of poses in the mirror thinking if I look presentable as I didn't notice someone came inside my room. It was my Dad while carrying Aiver. I glanced at them before picking up my things. Yesterday I only brought my phone because I'm in a rush but now I decided to bring my MacBook pro and research article.

"Aziel make it faster, your classmate is waiting for you outside the house." Daddy said. My eyes automatically widen of what he said so I look at the clock on my side table. The call time is 9 and the time is 8:30. This rich kid didn't know how to follow agreement. I went downstairs and I saw him busy typing on his iPhone. I cleared my throat to get his attention.

"Kailan pa naging 9 ang 8:30?" I sarcastically asked and raised an eyebrow. He didn't answer me and just stand up. He starts to walk and let me in inside his car. I just waved to my Mom then closed the window. He started the engine and starts driving. Anong nangyare dito? Nagsusungit nanaman.

"Hey" I said to broke the silence. He look at me for a seconds and back on the way. "What's wrong?" I asked when he didn't answer me. He just shook his head but I noticed him clinched his jaw. I sighed knowing that something is bothering him but he didn't entend to share. I plugged in my earphones and listen to my RNB playlist.

He stopped the car in front of Starbucks. I looked at him while his unbuckling his seatbelt. "Stay here." he said and get down. I just watched him enter the Starbucks until he enter inside. After a few minutes he came back carrying a four paper bag. I open the driver's door and let him in. "Kumain kana?" he asked and I shook my head. I didn't eat my breakfast after I knew that he was waiting for me.

"Kain ka muna" he said and held a coffee and bread to me. I get it and eat. I really love the coffee at the Starbucks. "Shit!" he said in an irritation voice so I automatically look at him. Kumunot ang noo ko 'nung makitang sa cellphone niya ito nakatingin. I didn't bother to asked for I know he will not going to tell me so I went back on eating my bread and sipping my coffee. "Our groupmates tell a non reasonable excuses." he said.

"So cancelled?" I asked but he just shook his head. "Let us do it together and remove the freaking morons." he said and finish his food. I open my messenger and I read their chats. Everyone is asking for excuse but they didn't bother to think that we also have a Sunday routine. Napaka invalid ng mga reasons nila knowing na tamad lang naman sila na pumunta. Tsh.

"May susunduin tayo, okay lang?" he asked and start the engine. I nodded and finished my food.  I didn't bother to asked him if who and where is it until I was surprised we stopped on a coffee shop. My jaw drop when I saw Ryssi leaving the shop and come to our place. I look at him with my eyes widen but he just put his index finger on his lips. "Ssshhh I know what you're thinking." he said. Nagpalipat lipat ang tingin ko sakanilang dalawa.

"Should I move at the backseat?" I asked but he shook his head. I just watched Ryssi come near us until he get inside and sit at the backseat. We look each other at the mirror. I bit my lip and move my eyes on the way. "May food diyan kain ka" Bonjour said to her and she just nodded. "Thanks." she said.

Nobody speak of us until we reach Bonjour's house. I removed my seatbelt and get down. I didn't know why Ryssi is here but tue truth is I feel out of the place here. Am I gonna be a chaperone here? OMG!!! I'd rather go home now and join my family going to church than seeing this.

Ryssi entered the house like she really feel at home. Me and Bonjour left outside so I look at him questioning using my eyes. "What?" he asked. "She's really cheating to Devon because of you" I asked but he just laughed. "You hated our classmates for judging you right?" he asked and I nodded. "Do you want me to hate you for judging me?" he added that made me feel embarrassed.
