Chapter 10

It was so frustrating knowing that I don't have any choice. Hindi ko pwedeng piliin 'yung consequence at mas lalong hindi pwede 'yung challenge. I was in the middle of deciding  when Devon cleared his throat. I glanced at him. No, I can't kiss him of course her girlfriend is here. I can't also kiss Bonjour and kuya Grey. I bit my lips while thinking.

I gulped before I stand up. I wasn't sure with what I'm doing until I find myself coming to Bonjour's brother which was kuya Eion. His eyes are on the table so he didn't notice that I came near him. I sighed before I lean towards him. I closed my eyes before leaning a kiss to him but before my lips touch his, my phone rang so I automatically open my eyes and saw our face was just inches away, he was confused. I immediately get my phone from the table and surprised seeing it was my Dad. I put my index finger on my lips to gesture a silence.

"Yes, Daddy." I said after I answer the call. He was asking me to go home now. "Okay Daddy, I'm on my way." I answer before I hang up the call. I looked at them frowning. I was panicking while picking up my things from the couch. "Guys, I'm sorry I have to go. My Dad will beat me up when I didn't come back on the time he said." I said and was about to leave but Bonjour rush to get his car keys.

"Wait, hatid kita." he said and accompany me. Nagpaalam na rin sila Devon at Ryssi at saka sumabay na lumabas. Devon's driver was waiting outside. We just waved at each other before getting inside the car. My hands are shaking in nervous. Bonjour notice it so he give me a bottle of water. "Don't worry, I'll talk to them." he said trying to calm me but I shook my head. I know my Dad hindi mo siya madadaan sa pakiusap. He started the engine and drive fast as he could but remain the safety.

When we arrived at the house I immediately removed my seatbelt and rush inside. I was surprised seeing my Dad is waiting in the balcony. I look at my Mom coming towards us. "D-dady, I'm here." I uttered. I was surprised when he slapped me. I didn't expect it so I fell down the ground. "5 minutes late!" he angrily exclaimed. "Honey, stop hitting my daughter." My Mom shouted and help me stand. I heard somebody cleared his throat at my back and my eyes widen seeing it was Bonjour and his two brothers. How did they get here?

"Good day, Mr. Rogers. I and my brothers wanted to return your daughter safe." kuya Grey said emphasizing the word safe. "This is my brother Eion Acrisius and Bonjour Iris." he said as he introduced his brothers. My Dad just smiled at them. "T-thank you." he embarrassed said. I rolled my eyes.

I went upstairs and lock my room. Hindi ko na hinintay na makaalis sila Bonjour. I hate my Dad. How dare him slapped me in front of the other people. He is so sick of it. I hear my Mom calling me but I didn't response. I'm already tired of this. Dad will hurt me then my Mom will say sorry and then I will forget about it then after a couple of days it will happen again. I can't understand them. Mawala lang ako sa paningin nila ng ilang minuto akala nila may ginagawa na akong masama. Sometimes I was thinking of something like how can I escaped this or can I still escaped from this?

I stretched my arms after I woke up from my bed. It was already 9pm and I didn't notice I fall asleep after what happened earlier. I get up and brush my teeth. I went downstairs and look for my Mom nobody's in the kitchen and at the balcony. I looked at my parents room and I saw the door was locked so it means they are already sleeping.

I went back to the kitchen and grab some dinner. Mom cooked chicken curry and kaldereta. Bigla nalang akong nagutom so I immediately get a rice and sit down the table. Pagkatapos kong ireheat ang ulam ay kumain na agad ako.

After I ate my dinner I decided to sat down the balcony and watch the moon and the stars. I taken a photos of the moon and added it to my story in Instagram. I opened my Spotify and played my HDL Playlist. A Poem Called You never fails to calm my emotions that's why I love to listened it.

I was enjoying my music when I heard a car stop at the front of our gate. My forehead creased. I went to the gate. I opened it and glanced at the car. I waited the person to get down but after a couple of minutes walang bumaba sa sasakyan. Lumapit ako at kinatok ang driver's window.

I gulped when the window opened and saw who was inside the car. I sighed then force a smile on my face. "Good evening. What are you doing here?" I asked him. He just shook his head and get down. I feel embarrassed when I remember what I did earlier. I'm still thankful that I didn't kiss him. "Does your Dad always beat you up?" I gulped, I didn't expect his question. "N-no." I answer. He looked at me and sighed.

"Don't you want to report it on the custody?" he seriously asked. I face him, alam kong masama yung ginagawa ni Daddy pero hindi ko din naman gusto na ireport ang sarili kong ama lalo na't alam kong dinidesiplina niya lang naman ako. I shook my head. "No need, I can handle him." I answer.

"Until when? If you are about to die, lifeless?" He asked that caught me off guard. I didn't think about it but I know hanggang doon lang ang kayang gawin sa'akin ni Daddy. Hanggang sampal lang siya dahil sino namang ama ang kayang saktan ang anak di'ba? I held a deep breath and glanced at him. "I'm okay" ang tanging naisagot ko sakaniya.

"Okay, I have to go" he said that made me frowned. I was left hang with what he just said. "Did you just go here just to asked me about reporting my Dad?" I asked and he nodded. I can't imagine him, it's in the middle of the night what comes to his mind?

I bit my lip. I remember what was happened earlier. "I'm sorry" I apologized and he just raised an eyebrow. Magkapatid nga talaga sila ni Bonjour mahilig magsungit. "About what?" he asked. I sighed and glanced at him.

"About choosing you on the challenge of the game." I murmured. "I was left with no choice." I added. I really feel embarrassed to him especially when I remember his face full of confusion.  "Right" he just said and look into my eyes. I gulped and my heart beat rapidly. This is not my normal and I really feel I was having a heart attack.

Natulala ako sa mga titig niya. He gently grab my waist and cupped my face until I realized that his lips touch mine. He passionately kiss me under the full moon. I didn't kissed him back and I just gasped when our lips departed. I didn't expect it so my eyes automatically widen as our face separate. I held a deep breath and look down.
