Chapter 23

One week after my party went nice. The school works is not so stressful probably because it's computation of our grades. It's Saturday today and we have our family bounding at Pagudpud. It is located in Ilocos Norte, on the northern tip of Luzon.

After packing up my things I texted Eion that we are having a famday. I wanted to inform him just in case the signal in the Pagudpud is weak. Okay lang daw sakaniya at masaya pa nga siya sa family day namin. He wish me luck and enjoy.

When everything is settled down, we travelled. We used tito Jero's Montero. The journey lasted for 7 hours and I slept. We arrived at 3 in the morning and it's already 10. I tried to reach Eion on call but the signal is not cooping up.

"Mahina talaga signal dito." tito Jero said when he noticed my face. I tried to fake a smile. "Oo nga po I can't call Eion e." I said and try to dialed his number again pero wala talaga. Tito Jero just tapped my shoulder. "Kausapin ko lang 'yung hotel manager sunod ka ha." he said and I just nodded. "Don't worry he will understand you." he said before leaving me. I blink.

Hindi ko pa pala nasasabi na kami na ni Eion. I'm afraid of what they going to tell. Baka sabihin nilang bakit masyado akong nagmamadali or bakit ang bilis. Pero di'ba hindi naman nasusukat sa tagal o bilis ng panliligaw ang lahat? And besides I like him before he court me.

'Yung relasyon kasi ang dapat na pinapatagal hindi ang panliligaw. Oo nandon tayo sa part na kilalanin muna ng lubos pero di'ba mas maganda na sabay niyo kikilalanin ang isa't-isa hanggang sa masanay na kayong dalawa sa lahat. But, it's just my opinion. Wag niyong gayahin kasi marupok ako when it comes to Eion Acrisius.

I really can't reach him so I decided to go with them. I saw my Mom waiting for tito Jero. He is talking to the manager of the hotel. I noticed my Mom is stretching her legs. She's carrying Aiver so I come near them.

"Ma, baba mo na si Aiver." I said but she shook her head. "He falls asleep." she said and pointed her index finger to her lips. I look at my brother. His eyes is close but his eyelashes are moving.

"Aiver is just pretending." I said laughing and my brother opened his eyes while giggling. "Issa prank Mama!" he said and I laughed at him. "Where did you learn to have some pranks on us?" I asked smiling. "Since I watched vlogs ate." he answer.

"Come with ate. Mom is tired of carrying you." I said and he asked Mom to get him down. We sit at the couch inside the hotel. Aiver is playing bubble shooter on my Mom's phone. We don't let him play online games especially mobile legends. I don't want him to get addicted and I want him to focus on his studies. Aiver is more intelligent than me.

"Ma, can we talk?" I asked and sit beside her. She is sitting in front of us. She nodded and look at me. I don't know if this is right decision but I want to informed her about Eion and I.

"Are you allowing me to have a boyfriend?" I asked. My heart is pounding and I'm nervous. What if she say no? Would I break up on Eion or I keep it to them?

"Why are you asking all of the sudden?" she asked and my heart beat more fast. My Mom is very supportive but I'm not sure if she'll support our relationship. I hope she will. I held a deep breath before looking at her. "Ma, boyfriend ko na po si Eion." I said and bit my lip.

"Since when?" she asked. Her eyes are not showing emotions. I made a wrong decision. Sana hindi ko muna sinabi at baka masira pa ang family bonding namin dahil dito. My phone vibrated and I saw Eion's name on caller ID. My Mom glanced at my phone.

"The night after my party." I answered and look down. She cupped my chin and make me look at her. I was about to cry when she hug me. "I'm so happy for you." she said and I was shocked. I thought she'll get mad. "Ma, hindi ka po galit?" I asked but she shook her head.
