Chapter 25

Time runs quick. It was like yesterday I was complaining on how can I get through my first day of school and the following days to come and now we're  done on our first semester.

Limang buwan nalang at magpapaalam na kami sa isa't-isa. We're going to separate ways, tackle a new journey and chase our own dreams. Kahit na papaano nagkaroon kami ng bonding ng mga classmates ko. We tried to go on the beach together, have a bonfire, going on the field trip and many more. Alam niyo yon, even we have different circle of friends we still have our bondings together and I'm so happy.

Yesterday is our Christmas party. We exchanged gift and spend the last time we have. It was our last day of our first semester and we're having our Christmas break. I received a lot of gifts like shirts, a pair of shoes, jewelries, chocolates, letters, flower and fictional books.

I stretched my arms and feel the cold wind blowing through my window. This is the first day of my Christmas break. I check on my phone if Acrisius message me and yes he did. We're 2 months together. I remember our first monthsary, he gave me a bouquet of flowers and chocolates and on our second monthsary, he gave me explosion box that contains our pictures together. Even he is busy on managing his company he never forget to make some efforts to me. I sit from my bed and open his messages.

After I replied to his messages I did my morning yoga. I arranged my bed and then went downstairs. I saw my Mom preparing our breakfast. "Good morning Ma" I greeted and she smiled. "Good morning princess!" he greeted back.

"Si tito Jero po?" I asked. "Preparing for office work." she answered.

"How about Aiver?" I asked and brush my teeth. "Still in bed." she answer and I just nodded.

After doing my morning routine like brushing my teeth and washing my face I decided to went upstairs. I was about to go on my brother's room when Mom held a paper bag to me. "Ano po ito?" I asked and she just shrugged. "Dinaan ni Eion kanina." she said and my eyes widen.

"Kanina?" I repeated and she nodded. "Pinapaakyat ko nga sa kwarto mo kaso ayaw." he added and my lips parted. "Ma! Why are you letting him enter my room? What if naglalaway pala ako nakakahiya." I complained and my Mom just laughed at me.

"Makita ka man niyang naglalaway or kahit na bad breath ka pa pagkagising, kung mahal ka niyan okay lang." she seriously said that caught me off guard. Talaga ba? Then naramdaman ko nalang na niyakap niya ako. "Sige na, gisingin mo na ang kapatid mo. We're having our breakfast." she said so I just nodded and went upstairs.

I went to my room and checked what's inside the paper bag. It was chocolates, donuts and a card.

"I heard you're craving with chocolates and donuts that's why I buy you. Also there was a book under the box of donut, you can read it during your Christmas break. Enjoy and I love you :)) "

I closed the card and look for the book. I was expecting a fictional book or a novel but instead I saw a scrap book. My forehead creased and I opened it. The front page is empty so I turned the next page and it made me smile.

That was engraved in the second page of the scrap book. It was a heart melting and better to my expectations. I was about to turn in the next page when I heard a knock on my door. I quickly closed it and put it under my pillows. I went to the door and opened it. There I saw tito Jero carrying my brother.
