Our Last Waltz

CHAPTER 8

Those words would linger inside his mind every minute. he can't understand why she said it so confidently. he was beyond amused by her skills and boldness. he never met this side her. the side where she brags about everything about him to the people who would constantly ask about their both relationship, though in reality he was never her man.

not until this day came.

His heart was at ease everytime he sees her in a calm state. he would stare to their both hands interlocked, smiling like it was something big deal for him.

"you look bothered by something...?" curiosity filled the lass' eyes as she ask him. he stops smiling and looks up to her with his both eyebrows raising.

"huh? sorry, i wasn't listening.." Hyunjae appologize by his behavior as she returned a smile. the girl shook her head, "are you feeling fine? you're smiling like a crazy man."

"I never thought I'm this madly inlove to the person next to me.." he confessed woth genuine eyes.

they were now both sitting beside a big pond with others roaming around. there was a big blanket they are now sitting on, while looking at the beautiful swans swimming around the pond peacefully.

"are you confessing?" she lets out a soft laugh. his head nodded with a slight pout plastered on his face. "you are a gift to me, Haey. an amazing gift that i will never waste. i would do anything for you, just to see a cresent smile on you face. i don't want them to fade, i would die if they would."

His words continues while Haey stares deeply to his heart eyes. she barely heard and understand what he was saying every second, getting lost in his eyes. if only his love was the cure to his condition, if only then she could have been healed by now.

her heart had a big space for him. he was the man every woman should need: caring, loving and most importantly the man who are honest with his words. everytime he smiles her heart would flutter and multiples of flowers would grow inside her lungs. he was a big change to her world when they were all not in control.

"i love you..." she says out of blue, genuinely feeling happy after those sweet words slipped out of her mouth. it made the lad stop talking and look at the flustered lass beside him. she was already surprised about it, "i-i.. Jaehyun-"

"i told you not to call me that." then he pressed his soft lips against her pale ones. the feelings now started to become new to both of them. the feeling of happiness and grateful. all trees started to bloom flowers and fruits, swans started to swim with joy in the pond and their both hearts, their both hearts now recognized the love they have for each other, romantically.

Hyunjae pulled from the kiss, resting his forehead on her exposed ones. she saw the beautiful smile he was already wearing while his hands carelessly rubs her cheeks. "i love you too, my love."

Bunch of giggles and laughs were heard from them as they both spend the half of their time in the town without no one expecting their both relationship. he would kiss her cheeks, the tip of her nose, lips and forehead every time their both eyes meet each other and none of them would cringe, but rather admire their both love for each other.

the love was Golden and Pure. from the way Hyunjae looks at her eyes to the way he takes care of her. nothing else could break something precious like this, that would be cruel. people would seek for everything just to have this thing called pure love they have. and they were the luckiest ones to receive them.

however, the world is indeed cruel. the love brought to them will soon end. the world thought the affection was enough for themselves to have a great accomplishment in the future.
