The news spread so quickly inside the school than the three girls can ever imagine. everyone was already questioning the three endlessly, some were already giving gifts for Haeyoun's fast recovery.

sure, you can see how popular Haeyoun looks like judging by how they treat her, right now. however, she's more than you could imagine. she is the lass that is said to have a heart of gold.

Lin run inside her apartment, feeling multiples of sweats were already flooding her face. it was rare for her to forget something to bring to school, which made her panic.

"shit.shit.shit." her apartment keys eventually dropped on the floor, caused by the way her hand trembles. "ahh!"

a scream came out of her mouth when she saw a ghost-- a lass, sitting down comfortably on her couch. Haey also got startled by the scream and looks up to see Lin, panicking.

"Yi Lin," she called out, tapping a seat beside her. Lin shook her head as she cleared her throat, tapping her shoes on the floor intensely. "I can't, I can't. i-i need to go!"

she run inside her room and took a folder that was already laying on the bed, going back to Haey. "can I know why you just vanished that day?"

"huh?" Haey's curly eyelashes flutter with her head slightly tilted. "what do you mean by vanish?" she returned a question. Lin shook her head before taking her hand. "come with me and we'll settle this in lunch break."

Haey didn't have any time to reject her offer as she already pulled her out of the place, dragging her Infront of some kind of tall buildings with a large field.

"you cannot go inside so you will be staying outside. here, buy yourself something but never forget to go back here before the clock strikes 12." lin told before running back to their school.

she nodded with hesitation clearly written on her face. she decided to shrug them off and took the paper that must be a dollar with her. she furrows, not understanding anything that was written down the paper.

"excuse me," she opened a door of a convenience store, peaking inside to look at the teenager on the counter. "may I help you, miss?" the latter smiled.

"what can I do with this?" the teenager's eyes roamed around, scanning her whole appearance as Haey remains there, unaware.

"BAE HAEYOUN!" she got caught off guard by her sudden change. the latter hugged her tightly, as she could hear sobs coming from her. "I miss you Haeyoun!"

"u-uh, sorry but I don't know the Haeyoun you are talking about," her answer immediately made her stop crying. she looks up to scan her again before letting out a loud gasp.

"y-you are not Bae Haeyoun?" Haey shook her head, "I'm Seo Haey." she affirmed.

"i am so sorry." the girl in front of her bowed down continuously, regretting her life decisions already. but Haey didn't bother and find it adorable to see her reaction.

"no need to apologize." she smiled before following her to the counter. she puts the three papers on the table before raising her left eyebrow.

"What is this?"

"yes?"

"What kind of paper is this."

"Pardon me?" she was already feeling complicated about her question." that's paper money, ma'am."

"What is a money paper?" the latter was too kind not to laugh at her question. she hide it behind her throat and of course, enlightened the confused lass.

"you can use the money to buy anything. but the money you have here can only buy products like foods," she answered genuinely with a slight smile. Haey looks grateful at her answer, she was beyond amused by the paper.

"So is it like a gold coin?" the latter again was confused about her question. Haey on the other hand was still unsure about the paper she is now holding.

"y-yes, if it works like that."

the rest of her time was spent inside the store and the money was spent quickly. she bought many foods that pique her interest as the latter guide her. Haey was already making friends. a trustworthy one. though it is really hard to find someone who is generous to offer this kind of thing.
