I don't want drama..!

I was just collecting my things for the meeting when Heena entered my cabin. She said
"Boss is asking for you. Be quick!"

Quickly I gathered my things & left for her cabin. I knocked on her door I heard a come in.
"Good Afternoon, Mrs. Shenoy. Should we leave?" I asked her and she just nodded taking her laptop bag.

"Anushka, you are going to handle this project single handedly. I've talked to Mr. Bedi & Ms.Khurrana about it. I just want you to give your best today so that they don't have any doubts regarding you." She said.

"Ofcourse Mrs. Shenoy. I'll try my best." I said with a smile walking with her.
Me, Riya & Mrs. Shenoy were going to attend this meeting. Riya is her personal assistant as well as a good friend of mine.

"Everything will be fine." Riya whispered & I nodded.
I am really nervous today and no, this is not because I'm not used to this planning thing. It's my job, I love it. But this is going be my my first ever independent project.
Mrs. Shenoy has to leave for london today and she can't manage it. So, she has trusted me alot and handed me this wedding planning.
It was really a last minute thing. So, I have not studied about the clients. I've just prepared my presentation on the basis of their requirements which were listed by my boss.

We got down from the car and walked towards the restaurant. I did not pay attention to what the person on the reception desk was saying because I was busy in checking out the latest bridal collection on my Ipad.
We walked in the restaurant and I showed one of the collections to Riya with a real big smile on my face.

My bridal dress was spectacular!
I thought remembering my wedding dress.

Naahhh..!
Now is not the time.

Taking a deep breath and shaking my thoughts away, I closed the Ipad and looked forward to get the shock of my life.

I looked at him wide eyed.

If only I would've listened to what the receptionist was saying, I would've known the booking was under his name!

Then, what would you do about it?

I just shook my head and pushed my thoughts away. I need to think straight so that I can face him.

I thought taking a deep breath with closed eyes and the moment I opened my eyes I saw that he was walking towards me.

I just looked to my left & right to see If I have an option on running away still open.
But before I could think of anything,
He forwarded his hand towards me and said "Dev Khurrana."

His face gave away nothing.
Literally nothing!

Is he angry?

Ofcourse he is!

Who wouldn't be? After seeing their runaway bride.

He just turned out to get hotter with age, I guess!
Everything about him is still the same except for the fact that his eyes are not as warm as they were for me.

The same sharp jaw, long nose, full lips,—

What's wrong with me?

Riya just nudged me and I got out of my trance.
"Anushka Tandon." I said taking his hand in for a shake.
